What do you prefer Heavy, Medium, or Light characters? Also Bikes or Karts?

For me I personally think Bikes are better and I prefer Light characters
 
I really prefer Medium characters because I am really used to these types of characters in the previous installments of Mario Kart like Mario Kart DS and so forth . I never really been of a fan of Bikes because I always use Karts but I can say that Bikes really look cool though I didn't really like the feel when I tried it :dead: To me it always felt like I was going to drop :facepalm:
 
I like bikes more because they look cooler, and I like the light characters more. They go so much faster and it is much more fun racing with them. They get pushed really easily though...
 
I'm assuming this is about MK8, not MKWii. Heavy characters are better for speed and light characters get bumped too easily. Karts can firehop, so they're OP. I'm a tryhard so heavies and karts.
 
On MK7 I use a Heavy kart so I can push small karts around and outspeed them. I do like bikes but I've only ever played MKWii a few times so I'm not as experienced in that game so I use medium characters for bikes.
 
I used to prefer only light karts (Toad), as I felt like I did better with them. But in Mario Kart Wii, when I unlocked Rosalina, I started only playing as her, even though I felt like I wasn't winning as much. So I guess I would have to say light characters, since that's where I feel like I do my best.
 
I like Light Characters, mainly because I played as mostly Baby Daisy and Baby Rosalina. It's nothing to do with competiton, I just loved it whenever Baby Daisy said "pow!". It was so cute! I do best with bikes, though I'll use karts when it comes to Wii's battle mode.
I'm going of of MK Wii, not the newer ones, because that's the one I've spent the most time playing.
 
Heavy characters for me. They have much faster karts/bikes, and can knock others off their paths. Acceleration isn't that good but who wants a slow bike/kart which stays behind? xD

taking over other racers is the way to go! :p

I like a mix of both bikes and karts.
 
Well, since Link is playable, I prefer medium ones :p. I also prefer light karts instead of bikes, because I find it hard to steer the bikes and I often find myself ramming into obstacles while im trying to drift With the bikes. I know it wasn`t in the question, but I also like to focus on Acceleration and handling

I love heavy characters becouse they are fast , the manovrability doesn't import , for this I use always jumps and drifts , and I go better with karts.

i use a mixture of light and heavy in MK7. i use the same kart design for both koopa troopa and metal mario because it gives good speed and it has ok handling, where other combinations give huge speed, but their handling makes every turn like trying to defuse a bomb with a shotgun :cat:

I always liked playing Bowser and just ramming people off the edge. Always amusing to watch the replay and see everyone flying everywhere. Good for getting ahead of everyone at the beginning of the race too :3

Heavy characters for the win! They accelerate slower but speed is faster, so it's worth it, :p

I use Bowser with the Sports Bike and Slick wheels with the Bowser glider. < That was a bit off-topic. xD
Anyways, heavy characters because you can knock people off and it's fun going super fast at 150cc. Oh yeeeah, and I prefer bikes over karts!

I like medium weight characters because they are easier for me to control while driving. My first priority is speed, but drift and handling are important in races too. I like to have a good mix, so I can ultimately win (if not too many items interfere with my progression). I use karts 99% of the time when I race in MK8 since karts are somewhat more comfortable. However, I use bikes 99% of the time in MKWii because I like to do wheelies they are simply the superior vehicle in that rendition of Mario Kart.

I really like the light characters on Mario Kart 7 and older ones, but in Mario Kart 8 I like the heavy characters because I just play with Rosalina and my Mii that are heavy. I really prefer karts than bikes because they are good for light and heavy characters and I don't like bikes because they are good for medium character I think.

As a Mario Kart 7 racer (I don't have Mario Kart 8 yet) I would choose Medium racers. Medium racers were always the best for me, because they are average and well rounded. My second choice would be light racers for their acceleration and turning attributes. I'm geared more toward handling than speed Most of the time.

I always choose kart over bike. and i prefer light kart racers only because being hit by items isn't much of a penalty as the acceleration is great and the handling helps for getting around tight bends. the only cons being is on tight courses where you can fall off, the heavy racers take advantage and shove you off :(

On Mario Kart Wii, I preferred using Light characters with Bikes, it always looked cooler. In Mario Kart 7, I used Lakitu and Metal Mario, which I think are both light and heavy. If I got Mario Kart 8, I'd prefer a lighter character than a heavy one, the faster the better, and racing games are usually all about speed.

I like playing with heavy and medium characters like wario, bowser and donkey kong. I think it is terrific when you knock them out with just a little crash. Talking about bikes or karts, I prefer karts, I think the customization is better with karts, maybe I am wrong, but that's what i prefer

I like like characters, because in mario kart, the characters are easier to move in the game. Heavy is just too hard to move and turn in mario kart.
