I don't own one either but from what I hear the Vita is much superior to the 3DS specs wise, but the game library isn't that good. Granted there are a couple good games like Persona 4 Golden, PS Vita game library pales in comparison.I don't own a Vita. Part of that stems from my experiences with PSP. While the DS had lots of unique content, I felt that the PSP library was crowded with weak console ports. Another concern I've had with Vita is the use of exclusive pricey memory cards. But w/o owning one, I don't have enough of an informed opinion.
huh okay. Well I guess it's to be expected given that it wasn't specifically MADE for the console gaming like the Gamepad was. I personally think that all the same it's an interesting gimmick because you could just bring the Vita to a friend's house and have both Vita games AND the ability to play on a friend's PS4 with the Vita acting as a controller. Even if the execution is bad, it's better than nothingYeah, but it doesn't sound nearly as good ...

Even then there are some who'd be able to see both sides. Note how I never asked "which is better" Glad to see you see both sides hereI think given that this is a 3DS forum most people would answer '3DS' especially since it's in the 3DS Discussion section.
I don't own a Vita, but I'd like to have one very much. My PSP's my favourite handheld and there are a lot of cool-looking games on the Vita that I'd love to try; the fact that it's region-free unlike the 3DS might make Japanophiles prefer the Vita.
(Insert '3DS has a lot of good games from well-established franchises' paragraph here)
So I'm going to be frustratingly indecisive and say I don't really think either of them trumps the other. They're both great consoles.
yeah, and some of the PS Vita games have potential but the execution is lacking. For example, I hear Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation is glitchy lolAs someone who's owned both systems, I highly prefer my 3DS. The massive library of games and first party titles is amazing, especially considering it's only been out 3 years.
The PS Vita is a great device by all means, but it just doesn't provide enough exclusive games to make the purchase worth it. In the 2 years since the PS Vita's launch, the ONLY game I recommend is Tearaway.
Yeah, the PS Vita may have amazing specs, but it just doesn't have enough support to make it worthwhile. I'd choose 3DS any day anyway just because I love everything Nintendo, but that's just me.
Obviously the PS Vita , since the 3D Effect on the 3ds is just a gimmick and PS Vita's operating system is much more advanced than the 3DS's operating systems ! and from this sentence please don't think I'm a hater.

This wasn't made to be a "which is better" thread, but rather "what do you think of each of them" thing.you should have made a poll and i think that 3ds
There's no argument that Sony consoles are much more advanced specwise in general. I mean think about it, the PS Vita is able to play 1080p while the Wii U Gamepad only does 480p. Although the Wii UGamepad is different from the 3DS (obviously), let's keep in mind that the Wii U Gamepad is more advanced than the 3DS....yeahI agree with you on the fact that the 3D effect on the 3DS is a gimmick but how is the PS Vita's operating system more advanced then the 3DS's? They are just different
