I finished downloading the Pokemon Sun/Moon demo a while ago and I just finished it.

I really enjoyed it and the trials seem interesting. I like how I had to wait some seconds to see the Pokemon moving across the screen to capture its photo ><

I also like how people watch you when moving near them (it stops working after talking tho).

Team Skull is amazing ;u; The grunts tho...

Also tried to go "GTA" on a vehicle but it didn't work :panda:

So what do you guys/gals think about the Pokemon Sun and Moon demo? :D

The heads moving thing sounds like an idea straight out of Pokemon Colosseum. :D

Oh... about the demo... guess I'll have to download it when I'm off my metered connection (@ home). Here's what I think (prediction):
The grunts are WAY too easy. I expected better. No Retro City Rampage features? I'm modestly disappointed. The new Pokemon? They look just like all the other Pokemon which are lifeless, soulless, and great battling machines. Where's the edgy underground sewers with "drug dealers" and thugs?

I like everything except for a couple things. Specifically, I hate how the game needs to reset the system when loading (like in smash/MH4U/MH Gen), how slow the battles are, how to enter building now needs you to hit "A" (makes game flow slower) and how small the Water Shuriken power up really is! Those are all for now but I'm sure I'll find more things later on!:p

Grunts being too easy (and too over-the-top with their walking/talking animations and movements) isn't that big a deal since it's just a demo and later on you probably face stronger opponents and all...

It's been really fun. I just have to ask tho,
Has anyone seen the Alolan Dugtrio?
And if so, how do you trigger the photo capture event for it?

I think the demo was tad bit too... short if I can say, but despite of that, I think it's pretty decent if it comes to showcasing several key features like Z-Moves, Pokéfinder, the Trials and how the battle against Totem Pokémon looks like, and how Ash-Greninja works in here. On the latter, props on Game Freak and others for giving nice details on the date when it debuted in the anime.

But I'm still worried about a few things, since Ash-Greninja is the only Pokémon in hand atm (and I'm not counting Pikachu for reasons), I'm wondering how to have more than one Pokémon so that I can still play the demo safely just in case Ash-Greninja is transferred to Sun and Moon. Besides of that, the game seems to encourage the player to be active every day (or in particular day), which makes me unsure if I can complete it when I'm too busy working on some stuffs irl.

To sum it out, I think the Sun and Moon demo is pretty decent, even though it's not without flaws.

I just finished the 1st part of it myself, and so far, I like it. I like how they combined the Pokemon Center/Shop/and cafe? together again. That was one part from X/Y that I really liked.

I saw the Dugtrio in a thumbnail a bit before I got the demo, and I honestly thought it was someone's prank. Some photoshoped pic to make a funny statement.

Tho said:Grunts being too easy (and too over-the-top with their walking/talking animations and movements)...

When I first saw them I was laughing so hard. I stopped they're dialogue and just watched them stand there and do Kakashi's jutsu hand signs. :hilarious:

Not really, my internet is absolutely terrible (you know how bad and slow it is;-; ), yet it only took me like 12 minutes to download!:p

Hah, yea. Surprised you got through it in 1 go. :D They usually only take about 5-7 min for me. Took about 10 this time.

Looks like I was a bit mistaken on being the 'short' part, since the demo still have some to offer after that first run of the demo, with some activities like Catching Challenge and battling a certain Ace Trainer.

I like it a lot. Also all of the leaks are interesting. It would be cool if they meant for those leaks and that they will still release some info, which wasn't ¨leaked¨.

There are actually a lot of things to do
play the game everyday as there are people who give you things on special days. Also you may meet a old guy after smashing some rocks who introduces himself as a mysterious old man :p. There are lots of challenges and secrets in the demo alone that can give you free items to send to the full game :)

Yeah, that was...strange. But still not as strange as the 'ghost, "you're not the one" girl' in the other game. Pokemon games have a vairity of odd balls.
