What do you think of Mighty Switch Force?

Mighty Switch Force is something I constantly notice popping up in recommendations for eShop games, but can anyone give me a detailed opinion? It looks pretty enticing to me (I love run-n-guns), and the price is all right, so what I'd like to ask is:

• How long does it take to beat?
• Is it good enough to play through more than once?
• How's the 3D effect?
• How difficult is it?

Never tried one, never will. I looked up gameplay and it doesn't interest me, but try it if you want.
