Well i like how the Normal map is because they have multiple platforms and it is good for practicing for fun smash, now with the Flat maps its just one platform but it is also good for practicing for glory to. thats what i do.

"Normal" maps are indeed great sometimes when playing "for fun". They're just ridiculous.

And Omega maps are obviously better for "for glory" matches, but they're still bothering me because, even though they are all 1 platform, they're not all shaped the same way. You have the "triangle" ones (Final Destination), the "brick" ones (Gerudo Valley) and the "ceiling" ones (Mute City), see images below. And that's annoying because due to these differences, you still don't have an always fair match.

For example, I'm quite good at teching spikes on "brick" stages, and I obviously can't do that on "ceiling" ones, ... but Jigglypuff (and others) can navigate under "ceiling" ones, etc, so you see that changing maps can lead to situations where someone could have been saved on another Omega map. That's why I don't really like how the "for glory" mode doesn't let people choose what kind of Omega they want, or set one kind of Omega for everyone.

both are good, the people who wants play in for fun and the people who doesnt wants, play for glory

Haha ! Actually I didn't think about that one since it's Wii U only. But it's true that we would always get Lylat'd (try to get back on stage and hit our head under the stage then fall like rocks) when playing on my friend's Wii U :p
Well for fair matches, play on that map since no one has an advantage :p

I disslike them for the reson that they are just bland and not fun, they are easy to play but thats all there is to them they have not fun in them.

To be honest I would say that I love the flat maps. Not more than the other ones but I do love the flat maps. To me the stage me and my friends play on I s final destination because I consider it the offical map. I say this because there is no tricks no changes its just the flat map and your opponent. So yah that's what j think about the flat maps.

I like the Omega Stages more when I'm trying to practice my skills or just want a more competitive feel. If I'm just playing for fun, I won't worry about the stages and I'll just deal with whatever. I'm not bothered either way by them, but I'm glad that there's that option to play on all maps in a Final Destination-like format.

I like normal stages more because playing on omega stages constantly somewhat dulls the experience of the game and playing on normal stages like Palutena's Temple or Boxing ring are good stages to play normally because they do not interrupt the gameplay very much and hey are the main 2 maps that I always go back to because of the design and because of the music on those stages so in short I prefer normal maps more so than the omega stages of this wonderful game

I prefer normal stages, myself, since I prefer casual play. Battles can get pretty hectic in regular stages, a bland plataform with some music and a theme slapped on it is not to my tastes, really. That only works in Final Destination for me.

i think the normal maps are better then the flat maps because they make the game more fun and interesting but if your in a serious 1v1 then you can flat map all you want.
