And then there's lylat cruise omega, which no one likes"Normal" maps are indeed great sometimes when playing "for fun". They're just ridiculous.
And Omega maps are obviously better for "for glory" matches, but they're still bothering me because, even though they are all 1 platform, they're not all shaped the same way. You have the "triangle" ones (Final Destination), the "brick" ones (Gerudo Valley) and the "ceiling" ones (Mute City), see images below. And that's annoying because due to these differences, you still don't have an always fair match.
For example, I'm quite good at teching spikes on "brick" stages, and I obviously can't do that on "ceiling" ones, ... but Jigglypuff (and others) can navigate under "ceiling" ones, etc, so you see that changing maps can lead to situations where someone could have been saved on another Omega map. That's why I don't really like how the "for glory" mode doesn't let people choose what kind of Omega they want, or set one kind of Omega for everyone.
Haha ! Actually I didn't think about that one since it's Wii U only. But it's true that we would always get Lylat'd (try to get back on stage and hit our head under the stage then fall like rocks) when playing on my friend's Wii UAnd then there's lylat cruise omega, which no one likes
