What do you think of when you hear the word "Boss"?

Aside from that stereotypical grumpy old guy waving a clip board and a certain central appendage at you, what do you think of when you hear the word boss? I think of Bowser from the Mario series, cuz he's the most "Boss" boss in any video game I can think of (See what I did there? ) anyway, what do you think of when you hear the word "boss"?

I'm probably the only one who thinks this but when I hear boss I think of this little guy

Because his name is Boss from the anime Hamtaro.

Right now? The first thing that jumped to my head was Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid.

Normally, I'd imagine a balding, grey-haired, sour-looking gentleman in a grey suit with a clipboard.

In gaming standpoint, I thought the 'boss' as a giant enemy in the game that I should beat. However, if it comes to normal life, I'm reminded of the boss who is so kind to me, that I was glad that I was working with him several years ago.

I think of boss as a general term for an end of the game or level/stage enemy. Like Master Core, Marx, Zero Two, Bowser, Cractus, etc.
Or even the car the Ford Boss

I think of Bowser as well. Not only is he a boss to Mario in a countless amount of Mario titles, but I think his name literally means Boss in Japanese. Bowser is truly "Boss." xD
