Sorry for being the unpopular opinion, bur I'm hoping for Let's Go new.

Seeing as the news is running dry for those games, I'd want to see at least more gameplay of the game.

I hoping for Persona Q 2 Localization! Please! That's the most I can hope for in terms of 3ds (But some more remakes would be nice. My wish list, unlikely it may be, is Paper Mario 64 3d and or Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door 3d and or The Legend of Zelda Link's awakening 3d). In terms of switch games I expect Yoshi! Come on now really? I's been like a year. Definitely need to see more Dragon Quest XI (it was the very first game announced for the switched (it was called NX then I think) and it's still not out! Probably a smash character reveal too. Unfortunately a lot of this direct will probably be talking about Nintendo Switch Online, so not too many new games would be my guess. They already have their holiday lineup anyhow (Pokemon Let's go Eevee and Pikachu and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate).

Oh dang Yes, I want footage or actually better yet I want a release date for Metroid Prime 4. I was thinking it could have been an October release but we haven't see anything at all so probably won't be in October. A new Star Fox would be cool but I don't know if Nintendo is up for that. Star Fox Zero wasn't... uh, critically acclaimed.

-Probably a proper trailer for Luigi's Mansion "3D", should it be in 3D. Seems likely at this point given the game's history.
-I'd be really interested if this 3D World port rumor came to light during this Direct.
-A proper trailer for Yoshi 2019 would be nice too, but we have around 3/4 of a year to wait so not completely likely.
-Expecting a spotlight on Nintendo Switch Online, but I don't have a Swotch so I'm not that excited or interested in how it's being handled.
-Let's Go! could get some news revealed, as we haven't exactly seen much yet.
-I know this won't happen, but I eagerly await the day an open-world 3D Chibi-Robo game is announced for the Nintendo Swoosh. My little chrome buddy has been in the shadows for too long...
-Maybe we'll get some details on the new Nintendo Squish firmware update, 6.0.0? Wondering if anything exciting is coming.
-Isn't a new Metroid game coming out?
-When did Color Splash come out? A return-to-form Paper Mario game seems to be long overdue, since there are now more games that broke the original formula than the games that followed it.
-Anyone think an Animal Crossing game could be coming to the Swertch? Seems like it might be time in the next year or so.

Anywho, that's all for my predictions. Nintendo's a total grab-bag with the 3DS lately so anything could happen.

A new Star Fox would be cool but I don't know if Nintendo is up for that. Star Fox Zero wasn't... uh, critically acclaimed.

Star fox zero wasn’t popular for similar reasons to monster hunter, but MH has a large fanbase allready while zero made a new change. Zero, like MH, requires time to get used to and understand the fun of it.

Yea I think the one thing about monster hunter is the fan base always goes crazy for new games at launch. On star fox zero's launch fans were disappointed in the short term (didn't put in the time to get used to new controls, etc.) and that showed, where as often Monster Hunter Fans spend like 72 hours straight grinding when a new game comes out and then love and have adjusted to the new game. At least it seems that way from what I have seen.

-some information of the online service we dont know yet (like, the other 10 games of the initial lineup or how does work the family suscription to make a family group)

Correct and exactly my point. Star fox fans are used to having fun right away, so having to get used to it like MH fans do wasn’t something the starfox fans were willing to put up with in Zero.
Zero also had way less content than any MH game, so it wasn’t always worth the effort.

If they announce Paper Mario for Switch I would be so hyped!!!!! Hopefully they go back to the RPG formula instead of the Paper Gimmick formula, with poor rpg mechanics. I'd also be vaguely interested in seeing a Super Paper Mario HD remake or port or remaster or sequel.

its kinda weird they announced the direct with the typhoon but now delayed it because of the earthquake, but well, the priority is the disaster,
by the way, it seems that the nintendo headquarters havent suffered the earthquake, so its not likely that we get most of their games delayed
