What does an image file look like off a 3ds SD card?

Since I'm not really the person who uses miiverse, I need to know what an image file looks like on a 3ds SD card, and how to navigate to get to the right folder. Does anyone know how?

There are two folders on your 3DS's SD card, one for 3DS data and one named 'DCIM.' The DCIM contains all the images.
