I have yet to get the game yet, but from what I heard it seemed pretty good. I just replayed Majora's Mask a couple months ago to prepare for the release, so I'm pretty excited myself to get the game. But to all of those who got the game, what do you think? And to those that haven't gotten it, do you plan on getting it, and what are you most excited for?

@Marc @Spinnerweb move this threadie to right section? :D

I think it's a great game. So many games to buy... I dunno if this is one I should definitely get :p. I'm most excited for uh.. playing it .. (.-.) I've played Oot and loved it. Majoras mask sounds cool as well. Still double minded though, whether as to I'm buying this or not xD

Up until this moment I've hate Majoras Mask, and I mean HATED it! I despised it so much I'd say it was near the top of my all time hated games. After actually giving it some time I am almost sad to announce, I was wrong... Its a well spaced out game with a ton of side quests to keep you going for hours, OoT is still #1 however (slight chance that might change once I've finished MM3D... Doubt it though!)

Forget about there being a release for the game on 3DS until reading these posts. Sounds like a fantastic game. I remember watching a lot of gameplay videos for the game when I was younger. Not sure if I'll buy it though.

i was exited when the new lengend of zelda game cameout cant wait to play it

What I love about this game is how it was able to stray from the traditional LOZ formula, but was able to do it beautifully. The fact that it has only four dungeons comes off as head scratching, but when you play the game with all of the sidequests it does not come off as the problem. The concept of the game I found to be bold and gutsy, but they were definintely able to pull it off in 2000, and from what I heard the re-release is good as well. I'm hoping to get it for the 3DS within the next week.

I think that the New Majora's Mask 3d is an awesome game and since I didn't play it yet . I really want that game so bad . I've played Ocarina of Time and I like 3d Zelda games alot . So I would definitely get this game . The only problem though is that I want alot of other games so that will have to wait ....o_O

It looks like a really great game. The graphics have been improved from the n64 game. Also happy they included some new features like the quest tracking and the fishing. I was afraid the only thing they would improve was the graphics. It seems pretty good and I might pick it up some time in the future but it gonna be hard to choose what to get with all these other great games coming out :p

I've loved Majora's Mask since the original for the N64 came out, and the 3DS version is amazing. The side quests and events, along with trying to keep track of everyone's schedules, makes for a lot of memorable adventures. Pair that with a very unique story, and the result is a solid game with many hours worth of stuff to do. I'll admit I never finished the original (stopped after great bay temple), but I managed to 100% the 3DS version and loved every minute of it. Also managed to get the collectors edition guide just for collectors purposes. All in all, Majora's Mask is a very solid title in the series, and I highly recommend that newcomers and veterans play this iteration, as I believe it is superior to the N64 release (despite the extremely noticeable swimming nerf...)

Why just for 3DS and not for WiiU too? =/

I still have the N64 version, but I am excited to play this version. Not sure when I'll be buying it (if ever), but it's up there on my 3DS wishlist. I agree with @Rockback though, I would like a WiiU port of one of the Zelda games. Maybe..Wind Waker? :D

well im not sure if its worth the 40 dollars as you can get it for free off of a n64 emulator and also purchase it for cheap on the wii store, but if you never got the game before and have no otherm eans of getting it, then i guess it is worth paying the 40 dollars

I haven't played it, but now that the game is out it certainly has some of my interest.

I'll probably try and pick it up later this year if this intrigue remains.

Well I havent played the original one and I still don't have it for my 3ds but yeah! i am dying to play it. This is just because through these years I have been playing different zelda games and there is this thing about soemthing that you don't actually understand but it makes you come once, twice and so many times to a franchise that I just love these games, so tihs is something that cannot escape my hands.

This game is a great port from the N64 to the 3ds! I loved this game very much and I think the N64 version was great as well. This is a good game to have in your 3ds library if you are a Zelda fan or not. Even though this game is dark, it still holds up from several other Zelda games.
