One of the first things you'll end up doing in Stardew Valley is choosing a farm type.

There are five farm types in the game:
  • Standard Farm
  • Riverland Farm
  • Forest Farm
  • Hill-top Farm
  • Wilderness Farm
Which did you pick and why did you pick it? :eyes:

I went with standard farm because I didn't know which to choose at the time. I didn't want monsters trampling over my crops in wilderness, I didn't like the rocky farm type of hill-top, and fishing wasn't my top priority for riverland. I was leaning more toward forest but @Sky convinced me to go with standard instead.

I went with standard as well. I wanted to go forest, cause it looked like the perfect one. But, I went with standard, cause I know absolutely nothing about the game, and felt like it’d be a more balanced and beginner friendly experience if I went with standard.

I like the Hill-top type, I get extra ore to mine from than just the mines, away from monsters when I need some quick stone and
ore, which more appears with every day that passes.

I picked the Riverland farm as it just looked the nicest to me and I could decorate each little island separately.

I went with the standard farm. I didn't wanna mess up my late-game farm with grass tiles i can't grow on, and the benefits of each farm (which take up even more space, and weren't too good anyways). It was the best farm for in the long run, and it had the most space, as well as very few things ever in my way (as in lakes or rivers), so I went with it.
