What game would you recommend for first-time Switch owners?

Hiya peeps! P2.0 here with another topic-thingy! ...Or that's what I would say, but I have to be completely honest with you guys: Sheesh, this is actually really embarrassing, but I sorta.. kinda.. forgot what I was gonna post. :'D So I thought of something else.

So, the Switch! A nice little home, and portable device made by Nintendo. Some love it, some are indecisive, and some hate it. What are ya gonna do? Well, here's one thing that Switch owner could do! Give recommendations!
You see, there's a lot of people who, for one reason or another, decided to buy a Switch to see what it's like, but they don't know what game to try to get as their first! D: And that's where you cool dewds come in.

And the question of the day, er, night is..! What game would you suggest for first-time Switch owners to get first? First games are everything to gamers. They give them an idea of what they want in the future. Be a pal, and help them out, will ya? :3

If it's your first Nintendo console then definitely get the online service and play the classics first. Then depending on the games you like get the Switch games from the same genre as the classics. 1-2-Switch is a good game to showcase the Switch special features sort of like Wii Sports but it's not necessary. You also can't go wrong with any first party game like Mario Party, Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Mario Kart 8 DX, or Smash Bros/Pokken Tournament DX.
