I'm from Chile, and here in Chile there is literally nothing in the E-Shop, not even DLCs, only games updates!!!

So I changed my 3ds's residence to U.S.A, and downloaded some stuff (Phoenix Wright DD, Harmokight, PokeBank, etc)
I was used to change my residence back and forth, but then, a wild Nintendo Network appeared!!

Since then, I haven't change my residence, afraid of losing my games or money in my E-Shop account...

So, what do I do? Can I change my country without losing... everything in my account?

You lose the NNID account when you change it. It says so in a pop-up window when you try to change the region. Why change it though? You will get the same eshop version no matter where you say you are from or where you are accessing from. What matters is the console version (PAL/NTSC), so an European 3DS won't play or access content for the US/Japanese one and vise-versa.

Well, first, as I said, there are differents E-shops, even in the same Region (America), here in Chile we literally don't have E-shop... but, the problem is, to participe in Chile's VGC, you need to have your 3DS with Chile as country.

I read somewhere that you can switch your country (someone of U.S.A changed it to Argentina), and (this is just what I understood, so I'm not sure) the NNID, PokeBank and the E-Shop just "blocks", until you comeback to your ussual country.

So yeah, I was asking if someone have already done this and what happens

What I said above IS accurate, as I have changed the region in my 2DS a couple of times, but I don't know if it just blocks or deletes the data from the eshop, as I wasn't using any of that stuff at the time. Also, the NNID isn't deleted even if you do a system restore! It's an actual account on the Nintendo servers with a username and a password and can be accessed from a different system if need be, but I'm not sure if you also get the licenses for the games you had paid for (you may need to pay for them again).
