What if Nintendo made a sequel or remake to Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon Coliseum?

Honestly, I loved to play Pokemon as a kid. And even as an adult I enjoy capturing all of the Pokemon, training with them and battling too. Even the anime has touched my heart at least a few times and it still does!!! Anyway, I'm getting a little off topic, but when I was a kid, I received the game Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for the Nintendo Gamecube, and there was one mechanic that stood out to me; the mysterious shadow Pokemon. Catching them was a blast, and sometimes torture. (Shadow Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno) But I really liked the 3D atmosphere to it, not that X and Y weren't as good, but for a Gamecube game, it looked pretty sick.
I really think this game deserves a sequel or at lest a remake, and the Wii U seems like the perfect platform for it. What do you think?

I'm fine either way, but it's true that I'd love a Pokémon XD remake. It was a great game, and there are quite a few details I missed when I played the game (was too young at the time, and now, I no longer have GameCube controllers/memory cards).

I'd like a sequel, that would be awesome especially with all the possibilities of new available Pokemon and improved graphics. We already have the setup for one, as after the player defeats Greevil in XD and Eldes brings him around, Ardos threatens to rebuild Cipher. And he sends you a death threat later in the game as well!

It'd be interesting if they were to revamp some of the mechanics, such as Shadow Pokemon and perhaps the Double battles (perhaps make them triple battles?). Also as to how the story would go (barring the above sequel hook) - would it star Michael or a new character once again? (personally I'd like it to once again star Wes)
