I thought of this a while ago wondered, what if you could meet ash on the pokemon games. He could be a gym leader that uses all types, mostly electric.( pikachu)

He wouldn't be gym leader since he is a traveling person and wouldn't settle down in one place. Pikachu isn't actually a good Pokemon, even with Light Ball. Red in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal and Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver is kinda like Ash since he uses Pikachu. (Or Raichu I can't remember)

You know that trainer in every Pokemon game who for some reason has 6 Magikarps? Yeah, he is more qualified to be a gym leader than Ash Ketchum....

Lol yeah I agree. He is good for training your really weak Pokemon though... Ash catches mostly weak Pokemon but I guess I shouldn't judge from that >.< i guess that is the reason why he can't ever win a big torunment or beat the Champion. But Pikachu is cool but apparently every single time heenters a new region, Pikachu's level gets reset or something...

Ash is a loser pokemon trainer. I can defeat his team easily without losing a single pokemon. And I watched a couple of youtube videos of a game called pokemon AshGray which is an edit of Fire red and the story is based on Ash.

Lol I don't think that will happen like anytime soon because he is a trainer that , like you in a Pokemon game , travel around but it would be pretty awesome to meet him and battling and etc. Though in doing so it could cause quite a rather unbalanced story scheme with a game and the anime :/

Ash can be an awful trainer. In the first season of the show, he was basically just handed a few of his badges. He beat Brock because the sprinklers came on, and Erika gave him his badge for his help, not the battle. There were also others like Sabrina, and the eighth gym where he didn't actually face the leader, he faced Team Rocket.

He has had a few good moments (like using Pikachu's speed to defeat the more powerful Raichu) but he is in no way strong enough to be a leader.

Don't think ash would be all that strong as a gym leader. He likes to travel around the globe anyways so unlikely he would ever settle down to be a gym leader until he "catches em all". There could be some part in a game though when you catch ashes Pikachu and have to give it back to him and he gives you an item

I don't think Ash himself should be a Gym leader. HE's quite weak and also he moves around a lot and a gym wouldn't really suit him. Although I'd like to see duotype gl's/e4's introduced (the user has a team of two types instead of one).

Ash sucks. He doesn't have the rights to be a gym leader. He's just an idiot who never grows up.He doesn't even evolve most of his Pokémon. He's been travelling around the world with the SAME pikachu he had for years. And his team sucks.Maybe Ash ate an ever stone when he was a baby or maybe his mother doesn't want him to grow up.Ash will still probably be 10 years even when Red is 80 years o_O.

I think ash is not worthy to be a gym leader. I mean he can't even beat an untrained level 5 snivy. And when he's motto is gotta catch em' all he couldn't even fill any of the regions pokedex. I think he doesn't even know how to grow up. I think that's why he's 10 years old forever.

I don't think he has the power to be gymleader. Plus, in the animé he kind of represents the player, meaning that we are Ash. So in a way, you can already meet him. :)
