SSB What is a Smash Card?

What is a smash card and what do they do? I've seen people with them but I don't get what they are :confused:
 
It is basically a virtual card which has your 3DS FC, Nintento Network ID, favourite smash characters and other things on it. You can put these cards in your signature on forums such as these. Other members can click them to level them up.

You can create a smash card here. It isn't official. It's just for fans.
