What is it with Waluigi?

Waluigi, I would say, is underappreciated. All games he's in are Mario spin-off games. Why doesn't he have his own game or even in the WarioWare games? Waluigi has so much potential that Nintendo isn't using. Waluigi deserves his own identity or should appear in the WarioWare games? I would say he'd be a great Smash Bros character. It was stated one time that Waluigi has powerful kicks. So Sakurai could make a moveset around kicking and various sports equipment. So please Nintendo, use Waluigi in more than just spin-off games.

Waluigi definitely deserves his own game and it should be like one of the games like what Mario does but even better like going on an adventure fighting other bad guys even though he is a bad guy and I do agree with you waluigi is a greatly under appreciated character in Nintendo.

Well Waluigi is the anti Luigi that his name was derived from the word "Warui" which is a Japanese word for "bad" hence Nintendo thought of the Luigi clone Waluigi. His name in Japan is Waruigi since it made more sense in Japan with the whole warui concept that is coincidentally reasonable.

I think it'd be great to have a main game with Waluigi and Wario working together to bring Mario and Luigi down, and we could choose which pair to play as: good or bad. Not having Waluigi in the WarioWare games doesn't make much sense, except maybe Waluigi is kinda Wario's brother and it'd be bad to reveal Wario's greedy nature against even him

Well, honestly, I don't quite like Waluigi, he seems so... Odd.

Maybe he just needs some fleshing out, there is little known of him, other than what he shows in the spin-off games.

Then again, it's not like the Mario series are particularly known because of the deep characterization of it's characters, maybe they should release a new Mario and Luigi game, but with more characters, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi and Yoshi, since the Mario RPGs tend to have certainly more characterization than the others, or maybe a new Paper Mario game, though I dunno how Wario and Waluigi would look in 'paper' form, maybe creepier than usual :s

In short: Waluigi is kinda creepy, but needs to be fleshed out

Sorry to disagree with most of you guys, but do you really think Waluigi deserves his own game? I like @Spinnerweb 's idea of having both sides in the same way, let's say the good one represented by Mario and Luigi and the bad one, represented by Wario and Waluigi. I think Nintendo saw no potential on this character almost from the beginning so that's why we don't see him as being the host of his own game. I think it is quite different from Wario, who has a strong personality, just as you mentioned, he is so greedy, on the other side, what do we know about Waluigi? He has long legs, end of the story.

Waluigi is one of my favorite nintendo characters right be side luigi. He really needs his own game with luigi and maybe an RPG or a antagonist for a main stream title. I really don't know what nintendo could with him but I want him in more games.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I personally don't get why he is so popular. Seriously, he's weird looking, has yet to do anything intresting outside of a few spinoff titles, and yet he has a huge fanbase. I don't get it
