What is links family tree?

I have been wondering who actually are links parents or even any of his family at all. What is link's family tree.
 
They mentioned his mother in Ocarina of Time I believe and in A Link to the Past he clearly has an uncle.

They haven't said anything else though .-.
 
I remember in Ocarina of Time a character mentions his mom saving him from the Hyrulian War and leaving him in Kokiri Village.

The manga version of Ocarina of Time it mentions that his dad was killed in the war as a soldier.

He has a sister in Wind Waker.

Minish Cap he lives with his grandfather who is a swordsmith

Manga version of Orcale of Seasons/Ages he lives with his grandparents

And Link is some relation to the Spirit in twilight princess.

And like Nanamine said he lives with his uncle in A Link to the Past.

That is a good question. But there's been so many LoZ games it doesn't even seem to matter c:
 
I'm fairly certain Nintendo doesn't care about parents anymore. A lot of new Nintendo characters just spawn in and don't really have a backstory. Occasionally, in one of the character's games, a back story will spawn or there will be a storybook or something (Super Mario Galaxy), but a lot of the time, back stories are just not Nintendo's strong suit.
 
I agree with you @warbird1500 that's not there strong suit at all, though it would be nice to know more about Link
 
Well, Link's mother in OoT died in the Hyrulean Civil War. In Wind Waker Link lived with his sister, Aryll, and his Grandmother. In Minish Cap Link lives with his Grandfather, a blacksmith. I don't know, other people probably know more.

An important note though, is to remember that most of the Links are not related at all, while some are decendants of other Links.
 
Well I don't think that Link has any proper or valid Family Tree or any reasonable and logical one . The only possible and logical conclusion to this is that well...Link is incarnated to each other and all that stuff , Link does have related people like Uncle or so so it isn't all true what you said about having no parents and all . Nintendo isn't really practically thinking about this and I wouldn't care either too :p

It has been confirmed that Twilight Princess Link is a descendant of the Hero of Time, and since the Sky Era was the first era, Skyward Sword Link is the ancestor of all Links. Links are Hylian and can therefore we can assume that Link's parents come from Hyrule, suggesting that the Sky Era Zelda could be the mother of the Minish Cap Link.

Just to add to this discussion, Link in LTTP has the blood of the Knights of the Royale Family running through them, so there's that as well. At the very least Link in ALBW is related to LTTP Link and in turn he is related to those Knights. It could be assumed that the Link in the first and second games is also related to ALBW.

The only thing for sure is he has a foster parent called, Uncle as there is no true name :p

Some people suspect Zelda as Link's long lost sister or vice versa since there has been some evidence and people inferred it. So he could be the son of the king and stuff. Nothing is for sure though so I wouldn't base your judgement on this :p

Doesn't he have a sister in Wind Waker? (I haven't played the game, but I believe this is the case)

Oh yeah, I forgot about her, haven't played Wind Waker :p

Aryll might be Link's true sister or possibly not. Link's so-called grandmother is never seen in the game though... Maybe Aryll is Link's sister but also Zelda's sister :eek: Legend of Zelda is confusing lol

The grandmother shows up too I think. She gives you grandma's soup in a bottle.

Oh, I meant Phatom Hourglass, none of his sister or grandmother is seen or mentioned :p His sister nad his grandmother show up many times in Wind Waker though, and you have to save his grandmother I believe :p

In Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker he has an very old Grandmother and a youger sister but in the majoras mak manga it said his mom left him to go in the war and the died died as a hylian soldier
