Nothing is boring in the games of pokemon :3 Except maybe EV and IV training and perfect EV/IV hatching ._. that's why I don't do competition battles 
but the annoying part during battles is when opponents keep spamming Smokescreen/Sand-Attack/other-accuracy-dropping-moves and Double Team at the same time >.> And when they're finally at the red zone, THEY FULL RESTORE OH MY HUHFAFNRGBRTUSFBZTRKURNVEBTZ

Sorry, i dont want to correct you here but... I think it's most, not more, sorry. But really, the most boring thing in pokemon in my opinion is that route(s) in between Lilycove and that city where the sky gym leader is. Heck, the flying gym and Mauville city was also a stupidly long distance. I hated it so much because if something happens to one of your pokemon and you are too poor or simply cant waste a revive then you are basically screwed, and turning back isnt really an option either. At least you could cut tall grass in the origanal hoenn games, thank god.What is more boring in the games of pokemon? And what is more annoying during battles?

Talking to NPCs is boring but necessary in case you want to make sure you get a free TM or item. Also fishing for Feebas is boring but you need it for your Pokedex. The most annoying thing in Pokemon is getting hit by a status condition like Paralysis and being hit by Confuse Ray or just being hit by confuse ray in general and then hitting yourself. Catching Snorlx is somewhat annoying too but fun because every time you try to get rid of its health it uses Rest.

I can't really find anything that is boring in a Pokemon game. I've always enjoyed doing everything there is to offer. To me, the most annoying thing during battles was the weather in older Pokemon games. Literally every turn it'll say "The rain is falling" or "The sandstorm is blah blah" >.< Worst when it's hail and sandstorm...... so glad that was fixed though

Let me get this straight, your pokemon was leech seed, paralyzed, confused, infatuated, flinching, and hurt by weather all at once?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!? I call stuff that never happened for 800! Nah, just kidding, but wow is that brutal, oh my lord that is so gosh darn brutal. What did you have, six shuckles?! That is just... wow... so much wow. The worst I've had was paralyzed, flinch, confused, and infatuated. Heck, what does infatuated even mean?

I had Greninja, Blaziken, and Serperior for Super Single Battles. The opposing TTar activated Sand stream, and was switched into some Grass type that bodied my Hydro Pump from Greninja, then used Stun Spore and Leech Seed and every time I tried to Ice Beam I got parahaxxed. It proceeded to leech seed me to doom. I sent out Blaziken to counter. It switched back to TTar which took the Flare Blitz hit, and afterwards I was gonna Hi Jump Kick, which to my luck missed, and died to Stone Edge. Then serperior was up, which experienced the worse from the other 2. I did leaf storm to boost sp. attack and hopefully rid of TTar, but instead went to switch into Lilligant again and this time it decided to use Toxic, which already threw the match out of favor. The Lilligant switched into Milotic, which bodied a Leaf storm and used Confuse ray, then Attract. I decided to throw the match then, I couldn't watch my poor pokemon suffer.

I'm pretty sure EV and IV training is boring. EV training takes way too long in super training and horde beating is well takes long and you need a pokemon with a multi attack move like surf. IV breeding is horrible, for me I never know what will happen. Like breeding a 5 IV Pokemon with a 6 IV ditto for me can turn out into a average iv pokemon.

The story and the gym leaders and the elite 4 is not boring at all :v. The boring part is when you decide to train your pokemon the competitive way. You have to have dittos, egg moves, ability, etc. for just being a good competitive player that can win many battle with other players. Why nintendo just let it like in pokemon red and blue were ivs and evs were not predictable at all and you just pray so your charizard made a critic attack fainting one of your friends pokemons? :v
