thQN6VL3MA.jpg thNF3R9C5K.jpg Listen up,what do you think the difference is between the Nintendo 2ds and 3ds.I have a list of pro`s ,cons and similarities for both.

pros(2ds) cons(2ds)

#It doesn't have 3d,it doesn't hurt your eyes. #It doesn't have 3d(goes both ways)
#It is cheaper than the 3ds # It can not close
#It has great graphics

pros(3ds) cons(3ds)

#It has 3d # It has an annoying 3d switch
#It has a wide variety of colours to choose from #The 3d can hurt your eyes
#It comes in different sizes #It is more expensive
#It can close

Simalaraties

#They have the same home menu
#They can use all Nintendo 3ds or ds games
#They bot have the same software
#They both have streetpass and spotpass

I know this is not all of it so comment on what I missed.

The 3d can be turned off, so thats not really a problem. If I would choose one of the consoles, I choose the 2ds. Why? Because when I play my on my Brothers 3ds, I never use the 3d. And I prefer the classic gba look on the console. And of course I dont wanna pay extra just for the 3d.

Thanx for that and I totally agree on the 2ds,but,and I don't know it you agree that little 3d switch on the 3ds is very annoying and keeps turning 3d on by its self. So if the 3d hurts your eyes I recommend the 2ds.

Add this pro on 2DS:
It is more resistant, it won't break as easily as a 3DS.

I guess the differences have all been outlined in the above posts, but I'm amazed to see how the 2DS is getting more love (in the posts, not the votes). The 3DS's clamshell design is better because it protects the screens and buttons, and makes the console more portable. The 3D feature isn't the main reason anyone should buy the 3DS, but it's cool and is implemented excellently in some games.

I have a 3ds xl and every now and then my girlfriend came to visit me, or I went to visit her, she always wanted to play with my console (it is alright, I don't mean this was something I did'n like to do), so I started to think about her next birthday gift and I actually bought her a console. The matter was that on my 3ds she didn't use the 3d feature, so I thought I would better buy her a 2ds since she doesn't use the 3d and the like, but guess what, she wanted the 3ds xl too. Finally I bought her a 3ds xl and she barely uses the 3d feature. To me the 3ds is better because it is bigger, and you can fold it and put it wherever you want. On the other side, I think the 2ds is kind of uncomfortable to handle because you can't fold it

Well to me the 3ds looks more cooler to me and I don't like when the buttons of a handheld console are on the top screen,it's not human to play like that for me and looks that karlentjie listed almost all of the differences soo.

I like the 3d on the 3ds. I don't prefer the 2ds so much as it has no hinge in it. This is why the portability is reduced. If you put the 2ds in a bag or purse, the power button may be pressed and battery may start draining out. However, if the wireless is switched on and you meet someone with streetpass, you're lucky.

I like the 3ds better because I like the 3d. Also, I don't like the flat 2ds. Also, the 2ds has only one speaker which makes the sound effects sound bad. In a 3ds, you can switch to 2d but you cannot cange to 3d in a 2ds.

I've never held a 2DS, but I prefer the 3DS more based off the fact that it has a clamshell design.
