For items, I'd say the clothing, I know it's a bit tacky to say, but I love dressing my character, every two days I change my clothes, and I love it. I'm currently wearing on the "Spring Kimono Dress"

to the silver thats all and to gold you can plant bell trees. also nook does not sell them but they are a japan dlc. i have a thread selling them if you want to buy one. http://forum.3dspedia.com/threads/selling-rare-japan-dlc.2394/

I like the Triforce and the Master Sword. Funny thing is that I usually get those items when I buy Fortune Cookies. Aside from furniture, I like the Axe, although I would prefer the Golden Axe since it doesn't break, even though I don't have it. I really need to cut down all the bamboo taking over my town.

I like the shovel because it lets me dig pit falls which will become the graves of my townsfolk ;-)
