What is your favorite Mario Party game?

Well Out of the Mario Party Series, what's your favorite? There's 13 in all, but mine is a hard decision, I really like 5-8 the most, (but I mainly only like 5 for its Duel Mode, coolest thing ever) but I would probably have to say Mario Party 6 is my favorite Mario Party! I really Clockwork Castle and Castaway Bay, switching between night and day is pretty cool! and to be honest I think Mario Party 6 has the best collection of minigames out of all of them, but that's just my opinion haha..

Apparently I've only played 1 Mario Party game which was Mario Party DS so I'd say that'd be my favorite, though I've seen the other ones, just not played it. Practically the moment I picked up that game I really couldn't put it down The concept was really fun and especially those mini-games and effects. Multiplayer is probably the best (as I'd supposed it should be) although sometimes a few games can take really really long. But still that one's my favorite regardless

That's awesome! I used to have Mario Party DS, it was really fun! I very much enjoyed it back in the days of it lol. My favorite boards on their were Toadette's Music Room and Bowser's Pinball Machine! but yeah it was cool to be able to take that game on the go wherever with the DS!

I've only played one Mario Party game, mario party 4 and that was an extremely brilliant game. I love the minigames, the soundtrack, just everything about it. I've been meaning to pick up another mario party game just for the sheer hell of it, but I've heard their not as good anymore

That's awesome! I liked Mario Party 4 as well! The minigames are pretty good and I think Goomba's Greedy Gala is my favorite board from that game and it's true, they ruined the Mario Party Formula in Mario Party 9 and 10 so if you did play another one, play 5-8 or DS (I'm trying to find Mario Party 6 somewhere but it's so hard :/ lol)

I have to say that my favorite mario party game of all time would have to be mario party 6 for the failed Nintendo Gamecube. The reason being is that the minigames were always by far my favorite in the whole series. Plus it was the mario party that i grew up on as a kid... i remember every day after school my 13 year old brother used to always tell me that we could play a few minigames together on mario party 6. And back then i was a huge fan of sports so i always picked the basketball minigame.

Awesome! Mario Party 6 is my favorite as well ^_^ and yes they are my favorite as well! I grew up playing 6 and 7 but not sure which one I played first lol but I enjoyed 6 A LOT more haha, my favorite minigame from Mario Party 6 is Lift Leapers

I only have two Mario Party games,those being Mario Party DS and Mario Party 9.I remember playing Mario Party 4 or 5 before on one of my parent's friends house,but I don't remember much about it,unfortunely.That being said though,I prefer Mario Party DS.
Mario Party DS is essentialy a retro Mario Party experience,and I had a lot of fun with that game with other people,and even alone.The boards are pretty creative,and same definition goes for th minigames.My favorite was probaly Soap Surfers,which was pretty hilarious.
I did thought it was rather short for its content,but still,because it is a multiplayer game,I didn't see that as an issue later one,and those type of games do last for a long period with company around,you know.
Generaly,I still have this game,and it still is awesome and fun until today.

I haven't played a lot of them. I played one on Gamecube, the Advance one, and on DS. I have to say, I liked the Gamecube and DS one a lot. The Advance Mario Party was boring. I got the game on an emulator but all I really did was the story and hardly did anything fun in it.

That's awesome! and yes, I think Mario Party DS's success is what sprung up Island Tour for the 3DS, I've never really heard anyone talk about advanced, not sure why lol...and yeah I totally agree! It does have great minigames!I really wish they kept the same formula and way Mario Party has been from 1-8, they ruined it with 9 and 10, WHY NINTENDO XD but yeah haha, They are fun even though Mario Party DS is from 2007 , it's still fun

Yes, I really enjoyed all the Mario Party's for the gamecube, I really do like 5,6 and 7, I feel like, "eh" with 4, I only like Goomba's Greedy Gala Board really but I did enjoy the minigames, and I've never had a Gameboy of any kind haha, but it didn't look very appealing...but cool!

There we go! That was the name that I was looking for. I couldn't get to think it out, but I knew that it had to do something with Koopas. Yep, Shy Guy's express was fun too, especially since you can actually solve some cases in that board, like finding the culprit on board the train and such.

Yeah! It's so fun! and yeah, I just like trains in general haha XD and I liked the Tycoon one, it can get really crazy on there if you do 15+ turns

I think Mario Party 10 is very fun to play. The game features a standard Party Mode (similar in gameplay to the Party Mode from Mario Party 9), and a new mode called Bowser Party, in which one player controls Bowser using the GamePad, and exclusive minigames can be played. Mini Stars return in normal party, as well as vehicles in all modes. The game is also compatible with amiibo.

The last Mario Party I played was Mario Party 7 so I can't vouch for the more recent games.

However, Mario Party 2 is my favorite. I love the land theme idea (western land, pirate land, etc ), the soundtrack is amazing, and the mini games are simple yet fun. I also prefer the classic style of chasing down stars with coins.

My favorite Mario Party game would have to be Mario Party 8. The maps really seal the deal on this one, specifically Shy Guy's Perplex Express and Koopa's Tycoon Town. I think that the random events on both of these maps are hilarious. and I love the hotel buying idea in Koopa's Tycoon Town. Just a really good game overall.
