My favorite is Mario Kart 7's Rainbow Road
I don't know why but it is my Favorite
Just vote for your favorite Rainbow Road in the poll or something
(Please ignore the fact the One of the anwsers are combined. This is to make room for another anwser)

Rainbow Road on Wii. Because Mario Kart Wii is king! Just nostalgia for me though, I do love the design. It's hard, but fair (Except that dang first jump! That one is not fair).

My favorite Rainbow Road would be from Mario Kart 7. Reasons would include the great soundtrack, the beautiful atmoshpere (especially when using 3D!) and the general difficulty. Many times had I fallen off the track :p Second to that would probably be the Rainbow Road from Mario Kart DS. Those MK games were the only ones I played significantly.

I really like the MK7 version of the SNES track because you can to tricks on the waves of the track the Thwomp's make and I like the simplicity of it. A great track for learning the basics and it's a quick one so you can get straight to the next track you want to race. I was never a big fan of the RR tracks because there's so many other great ones like DK Jungle (thank you Retro Studios) and Waluigi Pinball/Stadium.

Mario Kart DS Rainbow Road. It's the only one I'm really used to and I don't fall off as much :monkey:

Mario Kart 8 deluxe is my favorite . It looks really pretty and I can actually do the short cut on that track. The Gamecube one can go burn in a fire though. That one delay me beating the All Cup Tour way too many times. lol

SNES for Mario Kart 7.

This has honestly got to be the easiest RR track out there.

I really like the one in wii because it’s difficult but not in a silly way. Mk8 is cool but the only difficulty is in whether you know how to drift or not. 64 is super cool but takes forever and getting knocked off the track is a nightmare. They did fix it in 8 though. The super curcit one was very scary. Snes was ok, but obviously thier first go at it and the main danger is the lack of walls. Don’t remember the other ones too well.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remake of the one in Mario Kart 64 is the best in my opinion

It took me FOREVER but I 100% mario kart double dash. It takes a while to get used to but don’t drift in the spiral area. The rainbow road in Mario kart double dash is my favorite. It has to be one of the harder yet simpler rainbow roads with a nice little design. The 7 one was the start of a modern rainbow road and that was expanded on more in no 8 and deluxe. I dislike the snes one tho, it’s boring to play a track like that in the middle of other great ones. I don’t know what it’s called but I like the train one in mk8 too. The other ones were just kinda there not really being too good or bad:/.

Nintendo 64 Rainbow Road. You can't beat this classic course. It just has a certain charm to it. Maybe it's the N64 visuals that make it so for me.

My first rainbow road was mario kart ds, my second was wii and my most recent is 7.
In terms of nostalgia and difficulty, it would have to be Wii. It was so hard, fast-paced and fun trying to get rank star on mirror mode, and it's always funny when someone falls at the start. Me mastering that rainbow road played a big part in why I can beat every person I know in any mario kart game (then again, my family and friends are terrible...)

But my favourite is the one in Mario Kart 7. I really like how it's a space setting and each segment is varied. The final stretch is my favourite, especially the gliding section at the end.

I like the Rainbow Road (N64) in Mario Kart 8, it's one of my favourite courses for the Wii U and also because; for some reason, I seem to be really good at the course; I almost always become first place and to be honest with you, it's pretty much the only Rainbow Road course I know! I like the other Rainbow Road too on the Wii U but I prefer the one for N64 however.

I also think the music sounds great, including the track design. One of my favourite parts is when you have to glide with the parachute at the end down to the finish line. The road is very colourful as well with purple, blue, orange, green and red, etc. I like the challenge, I mean the road is fairly narrow, with some areas of the map having no railings on the edges of the road at all, thus making it easier to fall off.

My favorite? Its hard to pick between Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii...

ya know... i think I'll choose Mario Kart 7. Great soundtrack (best Rainbow Road theme in my opinion!), and very long. I like how its not a circuit, but has three different parts to it. That makes it more interesting and difficult. Sorry Mario Kart Wii! Yours was pretty cool too!

Totaly didn’t read this as favorite Runbow road

I would have to say the snes one but in mario kart 7 and 8 because it’s just a lot of fun to drift around the stage and jump on the ramps and stuff, I don’t really have any reasons it’s just my favorite ok. :D

I like the Mario Kart 7 one because of the great music, and its simply just a really long course.

the mario kart 64 has my favourite music of all the rainbow roads, (especially the remaked version for 8) but my favourite one to play is the mario kart 8 rainbow road

Mario Kart Wii’s Rainbow Road might lack in terms of music, but it has decent visuals and it’s layout is very fun. There are so many satisfying tricks that you can preform on this track, some being the moon jump on the declivity on the first straightway, the Kart ultra shortcut, jumping over the two circular gaps, going over the small gap after the ramps, getting a low trick after the cannon, and switching paths in the part where the track splits up. The track itself also has some creative sections, like the wavy road and the stardust tunnels and star visuals. I also love the minor details like the kart burning up as if it’s entering the Earth’s atmosphere when you fall off. When you first played this track, you probably failed miserably, as it’s by far the hardest Nintendo Track in the game, but it’s oh so satisfying to master the track and preform all the little neat tricks on your path to the finish. It might lack the awesome music and creativity that some other versions have had, but this is my personal favorite Rainbow Road.
