What exactly is a "homepass" and what are its danger if there are any, Can it connect my 3ds to a nintendo zone? Much appreciated with your answers

Homepass is a hack/tweak that lets you connect your Nintendo 3DS to a Nintendo Zone and also get unlimited number of Streetpasses directly in your home. This is a good way for users that don't live in a city with a lot of 3DS users. You get free streetpasses without even having to leave your home at all.
