What MH Game would be great to start the series?

You see, I want to get into MH. but I don't know what game to start with. If you can give suggestions on which MH game you should play first, then thank you.
 
It doesn't matter what you start out with, the experience wouldn't change that much. However, if you really want me to suggest one, the start with Monster Hunter 2! That way, it will give you a very nice experience when you start self-discovering the additions and improvement that were made in the 3rd generation of games!
 
MH4U
It has online play and is the easiest game in the main series. The second generation is good, but I don't know if you have a PSP or PS2 and we couldn't help you online, even if you did. (And I don't think that the PS2 emulators run that great, but I haven't tried any, so I could be wrong.)
 
Out of the 3DS titles I really suggest MH4U over MH3U, I found it a bit more user friendly, plus there isn't any underwater combat(Hate it personally) Both are great games overall. Plus there's online multiplayer if MH4U :D
