Whenever I battle someone on battle spot I pray to arceus that I don't battle someone with a greninja, talonflame, darkrai, klefki, chansey, and dragonite. Ooohh don't forget that fat kangaroo who uses their own child for battle. Why? Its all the same annoying strategy!

Greninja- He must have the protean ability and must be a sweeper. Don't forget to focus sash that frogger.

Talonflame- To brave bird or not to brave bird? That is the question. No crud that talonflame must have gale wings! Thank arceus that move has recoil.

Darkrai- Spam dark void... The end

Klefki- Who knew my house keys could be soo annoying?! First make it a sp. def and def. powerhouse. Don't forget the moveset everyone uses reflect/light screen/toxic/ and an attack of your choice! Give klefki an already eaten apple from your bag and you got yourself a ragequit.

Chansey- again! Power both def stats. Teach it light screen and toxic and don't forget to teach it how to eat boiled eggs every 2nd turn and give her another already eaten apple from that bag!

Dragonite- use dragon dance as much as you can and use outrage, but have a lum berry ready! Dont forget to teach it extreme speed!

Kangaskhan- mega evo that poke and give it power-up punch and earthquake, fake out, and sucker punch.

This is my opinion of why I hate battling these pokemon online. Share in the comments section whats your worst nightmare or feel free to comment for a battle with those above pokemon to troll me

I'm not online much because every single battle is a competitive guy. And I'm not very competitive, just a casual person who'd most likely teach a pokémon all 4 moves of the same type. Cuz I'm such a noob lol.
I always lose as soon as I encounter the first pokémon. Wanna know who? Dragonite. What did he do? Outrage. Every trainer I battled had Dragonite as the first pokémon and was unable to defeat one and lost very quickly. I had my Linoone use surf cause I thought it was a fire type oops xD
Basically, the competitive battling. I have yet to encounter a casual guy or about my level.

Oh I misread this topic for "what do you hate about online battling?" Sorry. Dragonite would be my answer. It's the only pokémon I fought against and they all use the same thing. Outrage.

Charizard, too, I never like the guess work involved in fighting these two.

Let's see now, what I hate facing are:
1) Belly Drum Azumarill
REALLY annoying after it pulls off BD and I have to rely on things like Sturdy or Focus Sash to take it down! I deal with it just fine though if I have something like a Dragonite at +1 attack and speed (usually when I predict the switch in), since Aerial Ace does about 60% damage on defensive builds and it can outspeed it before it uses Play Rough! However it's a HUGE pain to deal if it's out first!

2) Talonflame
Really just because of it's annoying priority from Gale Wings along with the annoying Will-O-Wisps!

3) Fully defensive Substitute Suicune
I'm talking about one specific set to be exact, Bold with maxed bulk with Calm Mind, Substitute, Rest and Scald with Chesto Berry! That thing is unbelievably annoying, it won't go down and the stray burn from Scald if also a pain! I know Pokemon with Water Absorb and some others can counter this without a problem, but besides my Storm Drain Cradily, I hate all the others so I don't use them and that makes this thing annoying beyond imagination!

4) Sashed / Mega Blaziken
Protect + Batton Pass. Nuff said!

5) Physically defensive Ferrothorn
Considering how in my main team the only Fire move is Tyranitar's Fire Punch, you can see why I hate fighting this thing! Having to take damage from Iron Barbs twice while having to worry about that Gyro Ball or Power Whip is a pain!

Those are basically the ones that annoy me more than anything else, although some things like Fake Out + Last Resort Ambipom can be pretty annoying too (until I switch into my Mega Aggron and Brick Break it to death that is)!

For anyone who's having trouble with Dragonite, the best counters are Cloyster, setting Stealth Rock and then using Outrage Arcanine, Fake Out users that can have an Ice move too and if you want to be tricky and annoy your opponent as much as possible, just do what I do, Snatch + Rock Slide Darmanitan! Or Snatch + Encore + Rock Slide for even more annoyance! :p

As for Charizard, just go with a Rock move and you are safe! Also, considering how you can see their team before the battle it's not hard to predict whether it's a mega and if so which one!

I hate bulky pokemon.
Mainly chansey because its so hard to take out.
Clefable I use one but its also bulky I end up having to use mega scizor to take them out.
Any other tanks I either don't encounter often or I easily take care of.

To help you with Chansey, here's a little tip, unless it runs Toxic (which is really rare), it's COMPLETELY useless against Ghost types, so you can just go with that or with Knock Off and send it's Eviolite flying! I hate Clefable too, but only the Unaware ones, since getting my Hawlucha at +2 attack does nothing against it, especially if it starts spamming Cosmic Power + Wish!

I hate the people who use hyperspace hole (hoopa) And any bird or any locksmiths uses meaningless like roost or sleep. Sleep is better but why would pokemon ban healing items but not ban healing moves? And when they spam the healing move.... I loose it!

Yes let me add some thing to this swegged.Even me when i battle some one in battle spot i am expecting for that person to dont have these pokemon ;Darkrai, greninja, kangaroo, talonflame, charizard and chensey you said above .Peoples there use these strategies with those pokemon that i have seen and faced it:

1- Darkrai: i hate this pokemon too much.this pokemon has an move called dark void. This move can make two or three pokemons to sleep and what i hate most is that all darkrai that those people have, has a special ability called bad dreams .When a pokemon is sleeping this will hurt it until it may wake up or die. Some used night mare this will hurts the pokemon sleeping and bad dreams too.

2-Greninja: Yes i saw some greninja having that ability protean[the pokemon changes its type depending on the attack he cast] in battle spot. What i hate with this ability is that ,since greninja is a water and dark type, i told my pokemon to cast an electri type attack with is very efficent on a water type before i had attack his attack went first and he cast leaf strom .My pokemon suvived and when it was my turn to attack it said not very efficent on the pokemon. See how he did it ,guys i recommand you to have a greninja with a protean ability.

3-kangaroo: I discovered that this pokemon has a mega evolution . People in battle spot use it mega evolution and uses fake out which i dislike most .Since in it mega evolution form it can attack twice so fake out twice .Some uses power-up punch it hit you twice and up it attack twice in one turn here guys i recommande you to do this as he has done.

4-Talonflame: i hate this pokemon too. Peoples there uses only this pokemon to use a move called brave bird you said.this attack hurts very well the reciever and does recoiling damages to the user ahh thanks as you said that [thanks to arceus that this move does recoiling damages]

14570-837a81a7bc1c8c09b3d9c81886b6b752.jpg

5-Charizard: Peoples there uses charizard with chizard stone y because when he is in that form dought comes[ it increses fire type attacks] .When he is in that form the use a move called heat wave . That move hit two or more pokemons in a battle .guys i recommand you also this .Try and tell me in a comment how efficient it is :D:D

14571-0a4b454dd0e2802b94ad0f20102818ff.jpg

6-Chensey: This pokemon has a very high defense and secial defence . It is too difficult to kill it .So i can recommande you to have it in your team try and take it on GTS .

Guys i found solutions for this if the take those pokemon when battling withyou: :)

1-Darkrai: if some one has darkrai i found that there is a pokemon called Espeon since darkrai usually cast dark void in the biggining or later i found that espeon can send back the move to the pokemon .So i recomande you an espeon in your team

2-Greninja: not yet:(

3-Kangaroo:If you have a fighting pokemon type use close combat and finish it with quick attack if you have

4-charizard : this pokemon is not so speedy if you have a pickachu finish it with tunder since pickschu is speedy or a rock type like golem finish it with stone edges it will die once ;);)

Full solution list for you:
Darkrai- Start with any regular Pokemon you want. On the first turn, switch to a Pokemon with Magic Bounce (eg: Espeon, Xatu) and it'll be put to sleep instead. Then you can set up with Calm Mind or something and Dazzling Gleam it to oblivion!:D

Greninja- Either use something faster or predict what it'll use! It's movepool is really short, so it's hard NOT to predict what will come!:p

Kangaskhan- I just use mega Aggron with Brick Break for this, even without a defensive nature and just with a decent investment in attack and defense IVs along with Adamant nature, it can take Kangaskhan on without a problem, 2 hit KOing most of the builds. Unless facing a defensive build, it can beat it in two hits 100% of the time and when facing a defensive one, it can bring it down to red HP after two Brick Breaks 99% of them time if not beat it, while also being able to survive three hits from defensive builds! When against an offensive build, it can take a dual Power Up Punch and then dual Earthquake and still live to kill it!

Talonflame- It's not the move that's bad, it's it's ability, Gale Wings, which raises the priority of ALL Flying type moves, even ones like Roost. It's incredibly frail though and hardly ever does any considerable damage, so if you get killed in one hit or you can't 1 Hit KO it, you are doing something wrong (eg: not using a decent team). Additionally, 4x weakness to Rock makes it sure to beat it if you take advantage of it and Stealth Rock just cuts it's HP in half as soon as it's sent out to battle!

Charizard- I'll be honest with you, unless running a sun team, Charizard Y is terrible. Charizard X is a lot better as a standalone powerhouse, but it's still terrible considering how many better megas there are you can use! Anyway, if you see a Charizard, go with Rock type moves since both megas are weak to them, so it's a good way to avoid being tricked into using the wrong move (eg: you go for Electric, it turns out it's Charizard X, so it's not very effective and it gets a free Dragon Dance)! Also, again, since the base is 4x weak to Rock, Stealth Rock almost halves it's HP upon switching in, making it easier to kill!

Chansey- Just use Knock Off on it and make it lose it's Eviolite and it'll be MUCH easier to kill! Also, it's defense is absolutely terrible, even with the item boost, so if you just stick to physical moves and preferably Fighting type ones, it'll be dead in just 1-2 Hits if they are strong enough!

PS: Greninja CAN'T learn Leaf Storm, so if it used that, it was hacked!:/

I hate when I use my regular team in a random online match and I run into someone using all legendaries. Especially primal and mega legendaries...

  • #14
The Pokemon battle team I hate the most is when they use rotom washing machine, umbreon with toxic, klefki, white kyrum,. I also hate it when they spam the same move. Like Hydro pump, fire blast, hyper beam and more. That's why I joined the Pokemon school so I can find what I'm doing wrong.

You know, Rotom wash isn't as strong as people make you think it is. It's Choice Scarfed most of the time, so it's pretty predictable and if you fear that it'll try to Trick it's item on you, then simply switch to something that can benefit from Choice Scarf (preferably another Choiced Pokemon) and make their plan backfire! As for Umbreon and Klefki, Magic Bounce Espeon deals with both of them in two hits (unless it's specially defensive Klefki, for which you need Hidden Power Fire), always moves faster and can always survive Foul Play, meaning it'll always get two hits before them! As for Kyurem, it's not that fast, so any decent Dragon type Pokemon or Dragon/Steel type move user can easily deal with it by outspeeding and 1 Hit KOing it, while Steel types can almost always survive it's attacks (especially if the have Sturdy), so it's not hard to beat! Finally, have you ever considered that people spam the same move either because it'll do the most damage or because they are Choice locked?:p

I hate fighting against Pokemon that can beat me.
We all do...
