SSB for Wii U What Pokemon should be a playable character in Smash?

I think Sceptile should be playable. The reason is that there are no fully evolved Grass type starter Pokemon that's playable in Smash. We have Greninja and Charizard. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are the latest games from the main Pokemon Series. Treeko is a starter Pokemon that will eventually evolve into Sceptile, so why not?
 
I think that Infernape would be really awesome as a playable Pokemon in Super Smash Brothers :D He could be more of a melee specialized character and his movesets can be very devastating , though I can't say that it might happen since there is already Charizard :/
 
I have four I would like to see as a option that's playable.

Zoroark, Meowth, Mew, one of the Legendary Dogs....

Meowth because there hasn't been a normal type in the game and two Pikachu has been there but not his rival? I mean we have Jigglypuff who hasn't played a major role in the series but she's there...I think Meowth would be a nice addition, and it's just my opinion but it should be the Meowth from the anime.

Mew should be playable because hey Mewtwo got to be in the game and be playable. I know Mew was a Pokéball assistant in one of the games but it would be nice to play as it, of course it would have a limit to how high it would be able to fly to be fair to fight. And who wouldn't want to play as Mew it's just too cute.

One of the Legendary Dogs because they been around a long time and has yet to star in anything as big as Smash. Sure they popped up in the actual Pokémon games but that doesn't count. I think it would be cool to play as them and use their abilities, I remember seeing Entei in Brawl and wishing I could play as it.

And Zoroark is strong and is kind of like Lucario but in my opinion stronger, the movie it featured it made seem unstoppable and hey it can even copy moves too imagine playing as a Link-Zoroark or a Mario-Zoroark!
 
I'm down with Sceptile for smash, it got a Mega Evolution in ORAS so I feel like it deserves a spot in the roster if possible. Plus he could use cool moves like Leaf Blade, Leaf Storm, Dual Chop, and more. The possibilities are endless.
 
I feel like Sceptile should be in Super Smash Bros 4 because there are no grass type fighters in SSB4 and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire came out.Yes we already have Mewtwo in the game and there are alot of pokemon now,but it would be amazing if you can control or see what Mega Sceptile could do in Smash
 
I agree with you guys. After all, it did get a Mega Evolution. Also, they could make use of its signature thing, its tail. in the Mega evolution, Sceptile's tail turns into a rocket launcher (awesome). Also,like @Awesomeguns1234 said, there are no grass starters in Super Smash Bros. His Super Smash could be Sceptile mega evolving and he could use his tail as his a weapon.

Actually, there was a grass type playable starter in Smash. That was Ivysaur from Brawl.
 
Sceptile would be a cool character for Smash, at least to calm myself down, hoping for Ivysaur to return. If Sceptile does make it in, it would be my replacement for Ivysaur. Sceptile may be a speedy Pokemon/character so I may have difficulties since I'm not good with fast characters, with the exception of Toon Link.
