What should the new LoZ series on Netflix be?

Legend of Zelda forever.
Towns Folk
We all know that Netflix and Nintendo are making a LoZ series, but what is it going to be about?
Is it based on a already existing game?
Maybe a new storyline?
What do you guys think?
 
I am not really sure to say so myself . I v'e seen some sort of video concerning it when I did a quick research and I don't think it's really based upon a existing story but i may be wrong though . Maybe it will be a new story line but I'm not sure if I will like due to the fact that it ruins the LoZ feel and of course , who will voice Link ?

I am personally excited for this but just as long as it doesn't turn out bad . I saw the video and it really starts to look like a Disney movie - ish :/

i hope its going to be a new story line with toon link, (quz WW is ma favorite) and as you just said, i hope it doesn't ruins it.
 
Now that I think of it , I think it would yes , actually be better of with Toon Link :p Knowing that all Toon Link is well , cartoonish , then it would be very awesome to have the movie based on Toon Link rather than just Link . Still might be cartoonish but who knows :p
 
No... no toon Link. Amost every "hardcore" gamer looks Down at Zelda for being "too childish" or "kids game". I want to prove them wrong, and making the Zelda series cartoonish would be taking a giant step in the opposite direction. Don`t take my Words for wrong though, Wind waker is one of my favorite Zelda games... but for a tv series, nope. Also, what video are you guys talking about?
 
In my opinion the thing that I would really like it to be is like an anime which was based off the manga series. If you didnt know theres a legend of zelda manga series which took the games and just put it into a little manga series, they shortened the games and basically cut it all in half, but it wouldve been really cool if they extended it and made it look much cooler, because in my opinion those games had a very well done dioluge and script I wouldnt mind seeing it on the big screen, it could go from kid link in Ocarina of time all the way to him beating Ganon then continuing to the next season entering Majoras mask, it would be a very good series in my opinion
 
Update : Apparently I found out that the Nintendo CEO denied the Legend of Zelda : Netflix series .

CEO Satoru Iwata has denied these rumors saying that, “As of now, I have nothing new to share with you in regard to the use of our IPs for any TV shows or films, but I can at least confirm that the article in question is not based on correct information.”
Though he doesn’t deny the possibility of other Nintendo properties seeing a television or film adaptation in the future, as for now it would appear that Link will not be getting to join the ranks of shows such as House of Cards or Orange is the New Black. "

Even though it wa said to be a fake rumor, I think a movie based of Skyward Sword's story would be wonderful. All the lore that started in that game would be great to see in a movie. Plus, we could finally get a version of the game without the extra padding. We wouldn't be able to play i, but it would exist!
