What special things have happened to you in any Pokemon game

Angry: Those moment where you have the feeling that critical hits aren't really balanced. Or when you make a long progress, then, the console suddenly freezes or shuts down (out of battery mostly).

Oh, lots of special things have happened to me in the Pokemon games, since I own many of them.

One of my special moments in the Pokemon games was in FireRed...

The Shiny (Short and true story written by your very own CrazyElf):

There I was in Victory Road (I think), training my team, preparing for the Pokemon League. I was in the cave, battling Pokemon after Pokemon, and quickly demolishing my enemies. My Pokemon leveled up many times, and were growing stronger by the minute. After around 30 minutes of training, I walked out. But one step before I exited the Victory Road cave... The incident happened.

There stood the beautiful shiny Machoke- my first ever shiny encounter. There, it sparkled with a brilliant light, and it roared in triumph, challenging me to battle and catch the Pokemon. I was younger when I played FireRed, so I never realized the true value of shinnies. Scared that I must've done something wrong, I was just about to click the "Run" function when I was interrupted with a gasp.

There stood my brother and sister, amazed that I encountered a beautiful shiny. Before I could even ask them what was going on, they started yelling "Catch the shiny Machoke now, now, now... NOW!" I was quite confused, but I did as they ordered. It was tough battling the Pokemon, and catching it at the same time, but after several tries, I managed to capture the beautiful shiny.

After I recruited the Pokemon to my team, I asked them about what was going on. Both of them started explaining what shiny Pokemon were, the rarity and value, etc. After they left me to train my Pokemon, I stared at my game. I was definitely in shock, but it left me after a couple seconds. There I stood, grinning at my first shiny and encounter, the Machoke.

My shiny Absol I bred after about 800 eggs is the best thing I've ever had in Pokemon. Also the hidden ability shiny absol I found in Omega Ruby with the dex nav. Absol is so awesome!

Good things:
Breeding competative Pokemon is a breeze and also I get the Dittos with the IVs I need. Also in AS, I keep collecting a lot of flags for myself.
Bad Things:
Im lonely in my Secret base in AS. I havent made a team yet. Another would be that you would spend a lot of time looking for a specific Pokemon you need for the PokeDex and the same Pokemon or a random one appears every single time. Which is where the DexNav comes in handy, but not all the times.

When I caught a shiny gyarados on lake of rage in Pokémon Heart Gold,When a shiny garchomp was given to me in black 2 by alder,when I caught shiny shelmet randomly and when I caught whismur and Durant via the horde method.

I'm not sure if the rate was increased in OR/AS but, you know those Pokemon that have a 5% chance of holding an item? Every-time I capture one, it always has a held item! I don't if it's luck, or if it's tied to my trainer ID like shiny Pokemon. And that reminds me, two days ago I walking in the Fiery Path hunting a Koffing, and you know those are hard to come by. I told myself, "I hope I find a shiny from so many random encounters." Luck be told, a shiny Torkal appears right after I had this thought. Crazy luck or coincidence?

Found two shiny Pokemon in Gen 3, shiny Minun, and after that, shiny Plusle. They both became a reliable part of my team

Getting a Shiny Bidoof on Platinum, as my first shiny, and the first Pokemon (excluding my starter) that I caught in that game. It was just the coolest thing! Especially since it was the first thing I'd caught!

Something really strange and weird (maybe unforgettable for all my life) was losing the chance to catch Mewtwo in the Pokemon blue because I had already used the master ball with an ordinary pokemon. That was so shameful I will always remember it.

Best thing for me was when I started my new file in SoulSilver and went to get my starter I usually go for fire types and knowing Cyndaquil was a choice I was most happy because I love Cyndaquil. But when I got there and was choosing I noticed that Chikorita and Totodile looked normal but Cyndaquil was shiny! Happiest day of my life I never had a shiny before.

Angriest moment for me was yesterday. I was using the GTS and saw someone needed a level 1 Eevee, and they were offering a level 3 Shaymin who was shiny with Pokérus went to my PC and realized...I traded my Eevee for a Magikarp

You sir, just have proven how the GTS sucks for checking a Pokémon's legitness. Even by now, any Shaymin you'll encounter legitimately will be level 30+. Plus, it had Pokérus and was Shiny you said ? Then, it's totally hacked.

Regret nothing, you don't have to regret trading your Eevee for a 'karp. It's way better than trading for obviously hacked data.

Yeah I should've realized it was hacked, but I was caught up in the moment. But I love my little 'karp Magikarp is worth the training, like training Dratini for Dragonite!

I learned not to bother with Jirachi in GTS all of those are obliviously hacked.

One day I was playing pokemon Y and I was trading with people. I started a trade with a random guy and got a shiny servine, shiny golbat and a blaziken with blazikenite!! I was really happy because I got my game after the blazikenite event was over. All I had to give him were a few starters I bred. I was so happy! I traded the golbat with a guy in a twitch stream for a perfect iv Dratini with good egg moves.

When I was playing my first pokemon game which was firered I found a shiny horsea when I was fishing at pallet town :3 its a purple kingdra now and it's on my omega ruby :3
