What to expect from Mario Kart NX?

Hey guys, I was just thinking about what we should expect from Mario Kart NX. and at this point its hard to guess what we should expect. Mario Kart Gamecube gave us riding with partners. Mario Kart DS gave us more ways to play with mission mode and such. Mario Kart Wii gave us motion control and new vehicles to ride. Mario Kart 7 gave us hangliders and a use for picking up coins. And Mario Kart 8 gave us antigravity racing and 200cc mode. So how could Nintendo top that?

Well 1 theory ive had is the next Mario Kart game may focus entirely on speed. As weve seen with 200cc mode Mario Kart can be a VERY fast racing game and it can work well. They could focus on an Fzero approach with large vast tracks. Theirs not much to say on this topic but it seems like it would work well from what weve seen in MK8.

Another thing we could expect is a way better battle mode. Nintendo should know by now that the Mario Kart 8 battle mode was a pretty big failure. So in the future we may again see a much better battle mode with new creative tracks to battle on. And even some old tracks with new twists. Also not to mention new modes along with it, like maybe we may see mission mode once again.

We can also expect new items, vehicles, and characters to go along with the game. And maybe some DLC like we had before. It won't be easy to guess what the theme of the game will be, (As who could of guessed the anti gravity racing). But what ever they come up with, its sure to be great. So let me know what you think will be included in the next game. Your guess is as good as mine.

At this point, we can only expect it to exist. We don't know what the NX even is.

Exactly. But learning from past titles their are a few things we can expect. 1 is a better battle mode as Nintendo even knows they dropped the ball. 2. More vehicles and other things which is obvious. And 3 is a unique twist to the game which almost every Mario Kart has

I would say that you should expect a gimmick of some kind, such as antigravity in Mario Kart 8. You might should expect an even more dumbed-down battle mode, as I expect this trend to continue. You also might expect some additional or returning characters that weren't in Mario Kart 8. I would expect more DLC, moving things closer from "Mario Kart" to more of a "Nintendo Kart."
