Nintendo throughout the year has changed Link's look. We've seen many variations, ranging from the cartoonish look of Wind Waker Link to the realistic look of Twilight Princess Link? Which Link do you prefer and what are you expecting in the upcoming games like Zelda U?

I am expecting the Realistic look that was shown in the Zelda u demo, if not at least like Twilight Princess art style.
I have heard that Miyamoto cancelled his work on the Zelda U because he said that he simply did not have enough time :(

I'm expecting it to be a little more lighthearted than Skyward Sword.

uhh where did you hear that?

More lighthearted than Skyward Sword? idk I thought that Link was already pretty lighthearted haha Idk I could see them doing some kind of combination between Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword in terms of atmosphere

This is where I heard about the Zelda u being scrapped: http://www.zeldadungeon.net/2013/10...nt-at-comic-con-scrapped-due-to-lack-of-time/
Hmm. that connection might work out well, but I would like an Ocarina of Time style link to be honest.

Eiji Aonuma:"To tell you the truth, I was planning to prepare something for my visits in New York and Germany that I could share with the fans. But I was so busy with preparations concerning the “A Link Between Worlds” presentation, that I’m sitting here today, with empty hands. But you can be happy about future announcements. Once I’m back in my office, I’ll get to work so that I’ll have something to announce"

this came from the link you provided. There's a big difference between cancelling a sneak peak and cancelling the game as a whole. Zelda U is not cancelled and we'll see something related to it at E3 2014.

Yesss!! Finally, I can raise my hopes up, at least a little bit. This might be the reason I finally might buy a Wii u

I still want more Zelda games that look like OoT and MM did. I feel that is the best style for the zelda series to date.

Otherwise the realistic look is fine for me.

Yes, I want the same too, like Ocarina of Time did, specially. Ocarina of Time 3D is also an art style I love, even if the style is mostly similar except than the Graphics.

It definitely is a good Link in the series, but I feel a bit of a slightly more mature look wouldn't hurt. My personal favorite Link artstyle is a bit of a tie between Twilight Princess Link and Skyward Sword Link.

I assume the Legend of Zelda game for Wii U will be more realistic since there is a lot that they could possibly do with the Wii U but we shall see what shows up during E3 this year. :)

Well, just because it's on Wii U doesn't necessarily mean it HAS to be realistic. I mean, take a look at Wind Waker HD and how unrealistic that turned out to be xD That said, a realistic look could definitely look awesome with the Wii U graphics.

Well Wind Waker HD isn't the best example due to it being a remake with updated graphics and some new additions but I could be wrong since I don't know how they made it.

You're right. Just about all they did was add more shading and make it HD.

I might buy a Wii U if an Anumal Crossing game comes out on it.

My fave is OoT and MM. Next is SS. Last is ALTTP

I think he'll look more or less like how he was is in TP, but much more detailed and improved graphics.

I think it'll be the Realistic, Human Link, nothing that looks cartoonish (not sure if that's even a word). More like Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess Link.

I think another OoT style Link would be nice, it's in the middle of the serious tone of TP Link and the much more light-hearted Toon Link. I think this style would be great for obvious reasons and would appeal to a lot of people. The OoT art style was only used in two games. (Excluding the remakes)

I'd love to see more realistic art styles for upcoming Zelda games that make it High Definition . Just like the new Zelda U that will be coming sooner or later . Graphics like in the remakes of OoT and MM would be secondary , I'd also won't mind cartoon-ish ones as well .
