wow that would be very embarrassing .
I'm pretty sure I waved at random people as well due to my not-the-greatest eyesight
,You're not alone 
But one of my most embarrassing moments was when on this forum , I wrote a really super dumb blog post on --erm something and when I just realized , I hurry deleted it

I had several moments in my life but the three I remember are these.
1. It was when i first got my phone and I hadn't gotten the chance to put my dad's number in. I asked my brother for his number (my dad's) and when I went to text him the next day I hadn't gotten a response until late that night when he was home sitting next to me watching a show...My phone went off saying
"Hey...whose this?"
I responded by saying "Dad it's me." I figured the text just got in since were we live has horrible connection and I didn't want to leave him guessing well seconds later the text came back saying "Dad? What I'm a dad?"
I thought my dad was just goofing around so I added "Yeah it's me Jeff." Which was followed by "sorry you got the wrong number" I looked over at my dad who didn't have his phone

2. When I was little my parents took me to a store for what I don't remember, but I remember following my mom out the store, and suddenly running back in to join my dad. I wasn't really looking and was only looking for a black shirt since that's what he was,wearing. Well I found a black shirt and I hugged it happily only to hear my dad from behind I looked up and,noticed a mean looking man. I started to cry because I hugged the wrong person
3. The last one was I was in high school and I was going to third period with my friends. I remember walking up the stairs and then falling, needless to say my friends screamed shouting about my leg falling off. (I should add that I'm a amputee and I forgot to tell them about it) Well my leg 'broke' the screws fell out and the metal rod holding the foot in place snapped.
Well imagine walking into class on two legs and then one day hopping into class on one leg it was so odd because everyone was freaking out asking me questions
