What Was Your First Pokemon?

You've heard it plenty of times but what was your first Pokemon?(Besides the starter Pokemon) Where did you catch it? I'll go first. The first ever Pokemon I ever caught was a Pidgey. I figured everyone needed a flying type and its was the best I could do in the beginning of Pokemon Fire Red.

This should be redirected to Pokemon Universe >.< But my first Pokemon was Bidoof and I didn't even catch Starly because why not I evolved it into Bibreal and it automactilly became more useful with Defense Curl and Rollout and also Mud Shot for some reason helped me a bunch.

Hmm , since this thread is in PkMn Competitive , I'll say that my first Pokemon that was like that would be my Sandile which later evolved into a Krookodile I had an awesome strategy where I would have a levitate Pokemon with it in a Double Battle then I would spam Earthquake .

Also the Krookodile also had Moxie ... so yeah

Um the first Pokemon I remember catching was a Lillipup in Black (I know, I started late ) But the poor thing ended up in my PC anyway so... Yeah. XD

For you to have ended up with Bidoof you must have been playing Diamond or Pearl right?

TURTWIG was my first pokemon in pokemon platinum was my first starter pokemon. I became very fond of my turtwig and when it evolved into torrterria i was very excited and happy. I liked that pokemon

I caught pidgey like you! he is very good for start, but when he got to a high level like 60 he is not the best, but if you are catching him on pokemon oras he is always useful because of its mega. his mega is really cool, but my favorite is mega sharpedo / mega absol. they are very cool.

My first Pokemon game I remember playing was Emerald so I had the choices of treecko, torchic and mudkip, I ended up picking torchic because it was the ' cutest '. In the end I ended up pretty much sweeping everything later in the game due to the fact I only had a blaziken and ludicolo

My first caught pokemon was a Dugtrio. My brother let me play his game 'cause I was bored and there was this massive thunderstorm.

(Well, I say let me play, but it's more like I took it. He left it lying on the table with the pokeball menu already opened. I just had to press 'A' basically. Way back in Pokemon Blue.) He was happy I caught it. Even though I was like 6, and my grasp on English was close to nihil. My mom bought me Pokemon Yellow that year, though~

My first pokemon I ever caught was probably a zigzagoon or a poochyena in pokemon emerald. I don't remember which one I caught first but the other one would have been the second one I caught. I keep both on my team even after they evolved and I think they were on my final team in that game.

Oh man I had to go back memory lane to remember this one. Playing crystal. Picked chikorita. Beat up some sentrents caterpies and pidgeys. Made it to cherrygrove. Went to mr pokemon and back. Beat rival. Gave egg to Elm. Got some balls. Tried catching sentrent - FAILED. Rage killed that. Next up was a pidgey. Tried catching that - SUCCESS. First pokemon (not counting starter) was Pidgey! What a throwback
