December 21, 2012. The day where something important was apparently supposed to happen. But nothing happened. Some said it would bring major changes to Earth and humanity itself. Others even said it would be the end. But nothing happened. Some people spent hundreds of thousands of dollars preparing for the day, and some schools even closed early. But nothing happened. So what were you doing on this eventful day? Me? I was sitting on my arse with a bag of popcorn in my hand watching the first Hobbit movie.

It was a normal day, but when it passed and the world still hadn't ended I went:

Pretty sure it was just a regular day for me. xD Didn't really do a whole lot of significance that day.

I was standing in the kitchen with my cousin's family bidding farewell and they decided to stay for a bit just incase the world ended :p

Nothing happened and they left home afterward..

I'm surprised I remembered that cause my memory is horrible :p

I think I was at school singing The final Countdown by Europe together with my classmates xD

Oh I remember this day! (real shame all those nit-wits that croaked themselves because they were afraid of it coming. There were more of those stories on than there were supposed to be.)
It was kinda cold, but snow in my area wasn't sticking around that year. That day was in between "having gone for groceries that week" and "need to go again for things we didn't pick up the last time." Everybody but people I know were going end-of-world crazy that entire month.

Amid it, we were just laughing amongst ourselves that people thought it was coming - it's happened before after all:
Y2K, Car-mageddon, meteors aimed at planet earth. God, a week after they were worried about Ragnarok and stuff like that.
I went to sleep that day, ironically said my last good-nights to friends & family, woke up the next day, turned on the TV, and had a good laugh that I remembered yesterday was supposed to be the end.

I was fighting the demons that escaped from hell and put them back where they belong. You're welcome. :panda:

I think it's one of the important days for me, but for different reasons. It was one of the days where I'm joining forum for the first time, so I started to post quite a lot there. I can say that day is a new beginning for me, because it's the moment where I'm surely but slowly starting to getting away from solitude for years and decided to make friends, and if not for that day, I wouldn't joining in here in the first place.

History channel was doing a marathon of End of the World documentaries, watched it while I prayed for the release of death.

I was probably working a 12 hour shift and didn't care in the slightest.

Was that the day people thought the world was going to end because the Mayan calendar ended? It was just a normal day for me, I did nothing out of the ordinary. I knew nothing would happen. If you ask me the episode of Parks and Recreations "The End of the World" (If that's not it, it's close) pretty much just so's how stupid that was.
