WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE DEATH NOTE?

You happen to be walking by, or in class when an mysterious black notebook falls from the sky. It's labeled DEATH NOTE you assume it's some sick joke...till you try it out.

Seeing the dark powers this book holds what will you do with its power?

Use it for good?
Use it for evil?
Maybe you won't even pick it up.

Assuming you picked it up who would you want as a Shinigami?

Ryuk?

Rem?

Shidoh?

So what do you choose?

For those who don't know, the Death Note is a book that will allow you to kill someone by writing their name in it, but you have to know what they look like for it to work. It has to be their full name, there are tons of rules you have to follow too. Like of you aren't specific with the death it'll just be a heart attack, or if you don't want the book how to give up ownership.

I don't want to give too much up in case you are watching it or going to watch it.

Personally, I don't know...I probably would pick it up just to look at it and then toss it back on the floor...or maybe keep but won't use it. If I had to choose I'd pick Ryuk because he's funny and in the manga he's like an overgrown kid. (And because he looks kinda like a cross between Laughing Jack and Jeff the Killer).

The second I saw Ryuk I'd be probably freak out and be like, "Take the Book back!!!"...I wouldn't make a very good Kira, though considering what happens I guess that's a good thing

At first i wouldnt really think it was real and would test it out like light did. Once i was convinced it was working and after i met the shinigami and stuff i would hide it in a place where nobody but me could find it. Then i would most likely conquer the world since there is no L to stop me and yeah.

If I were to come across the Death Note I would be very hesitant picking it up, because if I did pick it up and tested it out, I would not use it and as a result the Shinigami would get bored with me and probably write my name down.

Assuming we don't mind picking outside of the options of Shinigami given, I would pick this un-named Shinigami from Death Note: Relight 1.

In case you were wondering, Death Note Relight 1 is part of a 2 part special which is basically recapping the events of the anime into 2 films. If I am not allowed to pick this, I would choose Ryuk instead.

The problem with the Death Note is that basically picking it up is signing your life short of what it could be, what with you now having to entertain a death god who gets bored easily. If I was allowed to use paper from the Note of someone else who got ownership it would be a slightly different story, however I doubt it.

In the end I do not wish harm or death on anyone's life, so I would most likely never even use or pick up the Death Note. If anything I would be stopping Kira. *Eats sweet*

"Good" and "Evil" when it comes to using the Death Note seems really subjective. You're still technically still killing someone even if its for what you would consider "the greater good".

Anyways I'd probably end up taking the Kira route if I ever got the Death Note. Well, on a smaller scale at least. And none of that "I am a god" thing either

hmmm I would probably pick it up and try to get rid of all the evil in the world but I won't try to take Kira path or be like if I ever do then I know what will come next.

You have to be careful doing that though, because as soon as you pick it up, burn it or no, you become the owner of the Death Note. That entails the Shinigami to write your name in the Death Note when all is said and done, and considering there's no reason for them to be there if you burnt it...

Hmm... since I wasn't serious about the SAO part (don't rely on that actually), I'd burn it on the spot. And try to not be arrested for carrying a blowtorch in public.

I'd run away and join the Kira investigation if I found the Death Note... Or I would go all Kira, except without all the "I am God" stuff. My shinigami would be... ICHIGO!
