What would you do?

You're walking home from a club/bar/shop. It's 11PM, you're alone and the street you're walking on is poorly lit. You see 2 men in the darkness, you soon realize one is mugging the other. He/she is being threatened with a gun but neither party has noticed you yet so you could easily walk away and get home safely. You can tell it's beginning to get heated and there's a high chance the mugger will shoot the victim. What do you do? This is not my original situation, but what would you do?

I'd walk out of ear shot and call the police. You never know the full situation. It could be two drug lords going at it because the one stole a twinkie.

Chances are, if I jumped in to help without a weapon, I'd get shot. I would walk away and call the cops,
However, if it's someone I know very well, I'd take the risk and put up a fight,

Then, I'd give the woman back her stuff and walk her to where ever she is going. I don't put up with that kind of stuff and I'm always sober so I can make sure stuff like this doesn't happen or is stopped before it escalates.

Well, what I would do is hide off in the distance while they cannot see you, and call the cops, and when I hear them coming, I just walk off.

I would call the cops, then judging on exactly how serious it sounded I would try to do something myself. Maybe look for some sort of hard object to hit them on the head with.

Honestly I will most likely I know that it's dangerous but I would approach them...mostly because its my instinct due to having siblings. And I know it's not smart but it's what I would do...
