What would you rather have?

I have the choice of getting a Japanese version of smash right now or I can wait till December for an American version. What would you do?

I would get the Japanese version if I knew Japanese xD. Otherwise I'd wait if I could only get one of the two =).

American. I don't want to learn katana (that's how 'Merican I am) or whatever their written form of language is. Besides, I got a demo and I like only one character in it. Perhaps the Gold and Vs. data will move over to the official full title.

I think you meant katakana (カタカナ).

In any case, I'd rather get the version that'll be released where you live, though the hype is killing me, especially when I know Japanese people are having so much fun with the game !
Also, unless you have a JPN 3DS, you wouldn't be able to play the Japanese version of SSB4.

Yes. A Katana is a type of sword. I knew what I was talking about. I knew their form of handwriting had a similar name. Katakana is still a deadly weapon.

I think enough has been leaked for us to know most about the game so I would suggest watching a couple of videos about it and just camp it out and be patient and just wait for the english version.
