So I've seen a lot of games in recent years with DLC. Not really a paywall for fun, but if you are into a certain game or series related to it. It normally isn't in the front of a person's mind. Do you ever wonder what a complete game is, like a secret you'll never see unless you get it? To think the completion-ist inside you really just wants every little detail to be uncovered. I also notice the most over the top DLC is usually mobile or fighting games imo but it's way better since other people are definitely gonna play that character. Odds are they are gonna be better than yours because the developers want that little extra cash.
I nominate Smash for this just for the variety of content from just getting one character in a game where there's a lot of variety in what you can do and where you move.
