What's the one thing you hate about Pokémon Showdown?

I'm sure we all have stories to tell so let's share em.

I know I hate the battles that do last long and I don't mean long as in the battles get into 40-60rounds I mean the battles that don't start or last only one round because players forfeit.

I remember playing a round in Anything goes and I had a Haunter and the other player had a Mewtwo named Get Rekt. I happen to K.O. his Mewtwo I two rounds and he fortified.

Someone else forfeited because their Pokemons attack missed my Pidgeot.

Another thing that I hate is when they spam move Substitute, just so they can win, it's okay to use but if that's all they are using then I see no point in battling.

How about you guys?

If we are talking about the players, I just hate how even on there, everyone uses all the default Smogon strategies! Those are the worse there are! In battles, you are supposed to make a team of Pokemon YOU like and combine them in a way to get the win, not just copy paste all your Pokemon from smogon's OU list and act all high and mighty about it! Still, when I destroy their Ubers with a RU or bellow Pokemon (eg:Braviary vs. Mega Salamence), I wish I could see the look in their face and then shout the F-word right at them!
If, now, we are talking about the showdown itself, although I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to include this on this thread, I just get SO annoyed when I go to battle, the Showdown Sound Volume is at 1% and still makes me go deaf!

There are two things I hate to a smaller degree. One is that my internet almost always hangs for a while in a match. It's annoying >.< The other is when the other person sets on the battle timer even if you're making your moves quickly. It's kind of disrespectful, like they don't want to wait even if you're not making them.

The one thing I really hate, tho, is when @Alex gets an OP Pokemon with stat-raising moves and Roost/a healing move. It's a slaughter.

What do you mean by OP Pokemon? EVERY OU and above Poke has a counter in a FAR lower tier you know.

Also, I forgot to mention this, but for some reason, even when I click on the correct target, my move will hit someone else! Do you know how annoying it is, when my Clefairy's Heal Pulse hits my opponent?

It is when we're Random Battling and my Pokemon are no good against Dunsparce.

Not one thing, but whatever: the trolls, forfeiters and the Smogon tiers. Smogon bans too many things to Ubers imo

I don't really like the low-quality attack effects, they're soo bland and quick. It's just a cheap knock-off from the usual attacks used in the main series of the games. I think if more effort was put into the design of these attacks, it would be more enjoyable to play.

I agree, that's one of the reasons I still use Pokemon Online!

Doesn't that have more to do with your opponent's than showdown itself?
While we're talking about the players what annoys me the most is trash talkers. You know, the kind of people (And there are a lot of them) who badmouth your team, and then you. And then they get even more butthurt when they lose and complain about RNG or something. So glad they introduced a feature to block the chat.
The most frustrating part about showdown itself for me is that often it disconnects me, and I've lost the match before I get to connect again. That says more about my internet, but yeah.

because of this, things go so fast that i sometimes have to read the log to know what actually just happend.
