I know people using free battle aren't exactly competative battlers, but sometimes they make moves not even complete noobs would make. Here's an example:

I had goodra out, they had mewtwo. I swapped to zoroark, they used recover. They used aura sphere, which broke illusion and actiivated red card, which brought out thier zygarde, I used nasty plot. Instead of fainting zoroark with zygarde, they swapped for mewtwo, I used night daze, and thier mewtwo fainted. It gets much worse: after fainting zygarde, I found out they had blaziken as thier third. That blaziken could've fainted zoroark easily.

Anyone else have someone they battled do something that bad?

There was one occasion where I battled a dude who didn't know how fairy types worked. I felt kind of bad, as my sylveon just completely murdered his full dragon team.

Yeah i had that too.
My opponent had a mega latios a mewtwo and rayquaza, while i went in joking around with a lv 24 grimer, a lv 36 sceptile and a lv 50 gardevoir (which i mega evolved). He Dragon breathed gardevoir with mega latios, failed, got one hit ko'd by moon blast, and then mewtwo did some phsychic move to kill grimer, i forgot which. i brought out sceptile, and he brought out rayquaza. For some ridiculous reason, he used outrage, and with my luck it hit gardevoir (or should i say, didn't hit gardevoir), then mewtwo used another psychic move, i think it was the same one, to do tiny damage to gardevoir. I knocked out rayquaza with moon blast and soon enough knocked out the mewtwo, surprisingly, with sceptile still alive.
Oh yeah and i don't think that the psychic move was "psychic" although i could be mistaken.

It was probably psystrike.

Yes pystrike, how could i forget. Thanks

In showdown someone used a ground move on my talonflame and dragon on my fairy

I had a Zoroark disguised as... Something... I don't remember. But anyway they kept using psychics moves even after if said that it wasn't effecting it. They had a team of full legendaries, including both primal legendaries and a mega Mewtwo. I beat tem with only a Zoroark and Mew.

Sounds like you both fought some real noobs who probably didn't know about that stuff. (though ground against any bird isn't quite as understandable as the other two) I recently had someone's genger use sludge wave twice on my lucario. They might have thought it was a pure fighting type, though, instead of fighting/steel.

I once had a guy on Pokemon Showdown (popular battle simulator) try to trick me into thinking his Krookodile had ice fang so I would switch out my Landorus. Obviously I didn't believe him so I just killed him, and he forfeited. lol.

Oh my god this happened to me once and I lost because of it basically me and this oppenent have been going at it to the point where I have 1 pokemon (blazeken-Mega) and the only reason I am alive is because of Blazeken's speed, so he has 2 random pokemon and an Articuno. I casualy sweep the 2 random pokemons, and now it's my max speed blazeken VS Articuno. I go first... and miss. Articuno uses some OP flying type move, Blazeken just survives. Blazeken, use Blaze kick... misses. I swear to god my oppenent had no evasion boosting abilitys or moves. the thing critical hit kills me.

The stupidest thing a user has done was when I was battling online there was an opponent that had 6 ditties trying to fight me. They had level 30 dittos while I had level 50 because the cut it in half. I guess they thought that it would change there pokemons level to but it didn't. So I creamed the opponent and they forfeit after the fourth Pokemon I destroyed.

In Pokémon X-
I was challenged to battle while I was leveling up my Mudkip. The challenger had all fire type Pokémon and I had my single Mudkip, I thought I was going to lose because Mudkip was still pretty weak and only at level six. I prepared for a losing battle but my opponent used Explosion which fainted his Pokémon and Mudkip took no damage thanks to his damp ability. I forgot that was mudkips ability. We'll I don't know if my opponent saw the tag that popped up or if they wanted to end the battle because they kept using explosion until all their Pokémon fainted. :meh:

On Showdown,
I did a Anything Goes battle with someone who had five regular Pokémon and a Arceus. They used a moved (I forgot it's name) that caused their Pokémon to faint and when the new Pokémon get into battle the stats increase. They this up until Arceus was left with max status that would ensure a easy win.

I had my Houndoom out in battle, and my opponent was being really rude in the comments spout nonsense like "You noob you know nothing about Pokémon! Get Rekt!"

Arceus used Overheat or something like that but Houndooms Flash Fire ability made him immune. I just laughed responding "Ever since Kindergarten I been watching Pokémon, I played the original Red, Silver, etc."

Needless to say he forfeited.

I kind of feel bad I dunno, but I was fighting online for the first time in awhile and I had Ninetails out and they had Scizor, of course I took him out right away with heat wave with drought but then he brought out Venasaur, I thought it had chlorophyll but I was wrong and just killed him with heat wave again. Then he swapped out for a Kyogre, I killed it fast with solarbeam and I knew what I had to do...surrender xD sometimes you gotta give them to noobs.

This guy I fought earlier either doesn't know what pokemon are ghosts, or doesn't understant how ghosts work:
I sent out froslass, they sent out suicune. They just kept on spamming sheer cold, so after taunting them, I stacked spikes 3 times. Sheer cold fibaly hit on the 4th use, which activated focus sash. I then started spamming destiny bond, but they decided to use extreme speed, which didn't work.
Next blunder of thier's was, after they fainted another pokemon of mine with mega rayquaza, I sent out aegislash and faited it with gyro ball (it had -3 defense). They sent out primal kyrogre. I had to use kings shield, which they hit with hydro pump. They then used hyper beam 3 times in a row. 2 sacred swords later, I faint kyogre, and they quit.

Never spam destiny bond, use it once and it fails forget about it. The opposing team is bound to have toxic, will-o etc.

The point is that this guy didn't know how to handle ghosts, but thanks for the tip.
