What's wrong with Amazon's Amiibo prices?

I made Resetti's Bad list.

So Amiibos are normally around $12-$15 but not all of them are on Amazon. Some are around that price range, but some aren't. Let me list them:

-Link: $19
-Little Mac:$30
-Marth:$50
-Villager: $45
-Wii Fit Trainer: $26

Wait, notice anything? About the last 3?
Those are the ones rumored to be discontinued.
Will Little Mac and Link slowly join them? I doubt Link will but Little Mac?

They seem definitely higher than average. Who is selling these? Seriously I wouldn't want to pay a lot for such a little thing. Villager and Wii Fit Trainer aren't even good characters in Smash, just look at tier lists for them. Either there is a limited quantity of them, there is a glitch, they are all defective, they are modded, or they are trying to con someone into buying them.

If not, I can say that it's the "it's not rare, but let's say it is" tragedy happening again.
30 to 50 bucks seems more than overpriced to me, and that's really horrible.
When you know that the average price of an amiibo is €13/$13, I just can't keep thinking that guys doing it because of that false "discontinuation" rumour are lame.

Not to mention the people selling them is probably just trying to rip people off by pricing the amiibo an outrageous price. They usually do that to make them seem super special when their not (the game store I usually go to has all the amiibos), but that's just my opinion.
 
It definitely must be people who are selling those Amiibos at a high price range . I'd would never buy amiibos at such outrageous prices in my opinion , even if I really wanted it . But i guess that there are few places where they sell Amiibos at reasonable prices but I suggest never buy them at such like these :eek:
