What is your favorite classic game console I would love to know :)

What about you? :p

As for me...

5th Gen: Sony PlayStation
4th Gen: Sega Genesis
3rd Gen: Nintendo Entertainment System

I don't have any particular affinity for the 2nd and 1st generations though.

Well, time to check Wikipédia, as I am unsure for some consoles...

Anyway, for the 5th Gen, like @Spinnerweb, it's the PlayStation, because, too many memories, and that jingle when you start it...
And my answer to the 4th Gen is the GameBoy Color! Lots of quality games, and if you thought that I only played Pokémon on it: You are wrong! I used to play Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages on it as well as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

5th Gen: N64, I had a lot of fun games on it
4th Gen: SNES, I never had a Genesis.
3rd Gen: NES
My parents only bought us Nintendo systems. The first non Nintendo system I bought was the PlayStation 1 in 98.

5th Gen - N64 had the most of my favorite games like mario kart, and donkey kong.
4th Gen - Sega Genesis - My first game console, and had some of the best gfx for it's time.

5th Gen-N64 I remember playing Mario kart 64 and Super Mario 64.
4th Gen-Sega Genesis (Megadrive in Japan) I had sonic the hedgehog and cyber ball. My Sonic cartridge said, "Not For Resale" on it.

Thats because it was the pack in game with the system. It was not meant to be sold separately.

I assumed it was a beta version since usually some beta cartridges said not for resale on it so that's what I assumed originally. But it was the final game so I guess my theory was wrong.

Same goes for me. Never really owned any of the older consoles (Such as Genesis, PS One). Nintendo for the win. :p

Can't say I've actually played any consoles from before fifth gen, emphasis on consoles, as in, not handhelds.

Although my favorite is Nintendo 64 overall anyway.
