Mine is Generation 3. I loved the new Pokemon and Region and I liked that you had two Teams, Team Magma and Team Aqua instead of one. I also loved the Anime.
 
Gen 6 for me. Thanks to the new Pokemon Amie minigame.
 
Pokémon based I love the generation one. Game wise I love generation six.

Reasons why:

Gen 1, I grew up with it and the Pokémon looked amazing, they looked great up til generation five...seeing Pokémon based on dragons, dinosaurs, animals then going to Pokémon based trash, gears, and keys....

Gen 6 game is amazing because we get to play with our Pokémon and connect with trainers over the world.
 
Gen 2 because the remakes didn't do the WORLD justice.
Seeing Johto in that style wasn't nice.
But also it has Crobat (faaave) and Feralligtr.
Gtr is my favorite starter.

I picked Gen 6 because it included a remake of my favorite games.
 
My favorite would be Generation 4 simply because of HeartGold. It's the game that got me into pokemon and still stands as my favorite pokemon game. On a side note.. I don't care what people say I actually liked gen 5 .~. The starters were cool and it introduced interesting legendary pokemon and a cool story, I loved N and Ghetsis owo
 
My favorite gen is: Third gen! It's because all of the games. I played Pokemon Sapphire in a emulator when I was younger, and Fire Red and Leaf Grean are almost my favorite Pokemon games, and since I played Pokemon Sapphire 20 times +- I sooo wanted to buy it's remake, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and see the features by myself without reading in the site, and it was a nostalgia! I think Nintendo and Game Freak HAVE to make Fire Red and Leaf Grean another remake, or to do a remake to Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Yellow.
 
My favorite is 3rd generation for sure ! like what @Amit0603 said i loved both the fire red and leaf green as well as emerald and ruby playing them all since i was a young innocent child :sneaky: and the pokemon in the 3rd gen were legit - they wouldn't be based of crappy things like keys dustbins fans, those pokemon back in the day were what you call original :eek:
