I like to go offensive instead of defensive because I want to end the battle fast and sit there all day

My style is basically with NPCs is hit first and hit hard, not the wisest way but it works well
With other player I usually have to be more strategic but I still quite offensive

I used to play defensive but I switched to aggressive in OR/AS. Defensive just wasn't cutting it, bulk from pokemon like Slowbro, Quagsire, Regirock etc. I took advantage of but I never managed to do actual damage to an opposing team unless I used toxic or burned them... but with an offensive team I regularly OHKO or 2HKO :) I'm obviously balancing my team out though.

I don't play much OU but i mainly play balanced i guess
I don't play much UU either but i play water stall cuz that's what uu is right? scald spam
In RU I play HO
NU i play Bulky Offense or Hazard Stack
Finally in LC i play Hyper offense, balanced and semi stall

I guess I'm kinda in between offense and defense e.e

Back in 4th and 5th generation. I used to play offensive a lot mainly physical offensive. By the time B2/W2 came around, I learned to play stall, which is by far my favorite playstyle. e.e

In singles / rotation I play all out offensive, insanely high attack stats and damage output, but everything I use also has insane bulk. While doing that, I also force the opponents to show all their tricks and then counter them, just to break it to them. For example they use rain dance / sunny day team, I use Sand Stream Tyranitar, they use Mega Slowbro, I have Energy Ball / Shadow Ball Alakazam, they use Mega Salamence / Gyarados, I counter with Dragonite or Braviary, they use Mega Mawile / Medicham / Blaziken / Lucario / Kangaskhan, I have a 416Atk/559Def Mega Aggron. In, doubles / triples, I usually go a bit more strategically and do a Mat Block + Calm Mind / Nasty Plot / Swords Dance combo, with a Tailwind user just in case the other team has Chlorophyll / Swift Swim.

I go in with no strategy or plan honestly. My team usually has Pokémon that kinda clash but I find it to be more that way. And despite that I usually win battles (unless I get opponents that love spam moves or use revive and max potion).:rotfl:

I like to mega evolve then use a crushing blow to wipe out all of the opposing Pokemon in one hit. If that doesn't work and my main Pokemon ends up

Act first, regret later :p my motto, which is probably why I always lose XD

Many times I feel like I go more often for the offensive battle style :p Though I don't go too reckless, of course. Going offensive is a quick way to dent an opponent's team if you have an overall advantage, unless they're going defensively effectively.

On a few occasions I do go defensively, to try it out =P

I love each and every battle style in pokemon .

I like stall ,offensive, hyper offensive, weather ,balanced,no mega ,defensive etc. All type of styles but in all of this i mostly prefer balanced offesive teams which is really kinda fun to use them in competitive battling

I like taking an offensive approach, I like setup pokemon or trapper and pursuiters that are able to put pressure on the opponent. However, I also need some tanky pokemon in the team so I won't lose the control of the match against a faster and stronger threat :p

I go with a mixed strategy. Both offence and defence with sometimes a utility pokemon maybe 2 if it's teamwork based.

I have a start up that i usually keep the same while i see what the enemy is doing and get to thinking on what their strategy is! if it seems like its gonna beat my original strategy i will then switch mine to counter theirs and just keep predicting what they will do next. If they are smart! they will do the same and then it becomes a mind game for both teams where you really gotta plan each step and even the steps ahead and have heaps of back up plans ready as well for stuff that will go wrong.

I never play competitive, I just do the story.

So against NPCs, I guess you don't really need a strategy... you just beat the other pokémon and it's quite easy ._.

Defense, I prefer to play trickily, with bulky offensive teams and priority moves. I find that I enjoy killing things slowly in this game, so I probably get more kills from field effects and status as opposed to direct blows.

Hit hard, Hit fast, don't get hit. That's my style :p

It depends on the situation. I haven`t played competitive pokemon for a while, but I remember that I used to start out aggresive with Infernape and change my style depending on the current situation.

A couple of Dragon Dances and we're all set!

I like to stall out my opponents with Toxic and Stealth Rocks and the like. My team is pretty good for switching out and stalling, I think >.<

Usually I would going offensive most of the time. However, when facing other trainers, I would improvise by using some defensive moves at times.
