I always keep my pokemon games in pristine condition, I still have my pokemon Emerald's box. However whenever somebody says they lost their pokemon game, it breaks my heart:cry::cry::cry::cry:. Until 2014 i had not lost a single pokemon game. It was a rushed day and i had to leave my house and go to the park. I had taken out my pokemon black from my dsi and put in my SoulSilver. I left the ds on, normal! But when i went to my room after the park i checked my room but my Black wasn't there. I was heart broken. I checked everywhere but couldn't find it.

The reason my Black was soooo valuable was that the game had all my data from my original emerald.. Around 40 shinies, 60 6iv pokemon and the first ever pokemon i bred competitivly, a shiny hydreigon.

You can see my agony.

This was my solution.

In my GB games, i installed a tracker so i could locate it wherever, whenever.

In my ds games i placed a tracker on the top of the shell.

Now i never lose my games.

RIP Pokemon Black...

However,
I have a high suspicion on my friend...:thumbsdown: And Sabelye:vamp:

The only Pokemon game I lost was a copy of Pokemon LeafGreen. Thankfully, my little brother (he's autistic, by the way) doesn't play his Game Boy Advance as much, so I got his copies of FireRed and LeafGreen. I also got a spare from GameStop a while back. Like, before they stopped selling and buying GBA games, systems, and accessories.

If you don't mind me asking, I can understand how you'd install them into your GBC, but how does one install the tracker on the shell of the DS game without it interfering with loading it into the DS? I assume the top but I don't know how bulky or large these trackers are.

Another few questions is what are these trackers? Could you show us them? If not, what do they look like? Are they GPS, a remote button, other method of signalling? Can you purchase them online or is it just a local shop thing?

I make these custom tracker which is connected to my computer. It has a 3KM Range and was made from a remote control, my old TV set, an old desktop and some LED's. It cost me around £23 to make them.

And I installed the tracker in my GBC and on the top of my DS cartridge as it is too big to fit inside. It has a home network system thingy. Shame I can't install it in my DSI or 3DS. It has saved my pokemon Emerald so i'm happy.

I'd be interested in knowing how you made the trackers if you're willing to disclose that information. It'd be good for anyone else looking to do something similar.

That's so cool, I'd never be able to make something like that, if I lose a game or anything I just hunt til I find it or just give up and buy it again.

I learned it from my uncle.

That is interesting. It sucks to lose a game cartridge. I did it with my Pokemon Platinum version a couple years back and found it later in a couch cushion. I blamed my brother for stealing it because I had been letting him borrow it at the time. But it was my fault. I lost it like an idiot.
I like how the game cards are portable and small but then they are easy to lose and it sucks. I wish they could just make all software for the most part be on the Nintendo eShop so we could never "lose" the cartridge because there wouldn't be a cartridge. That would be nice and then there would never be a reason for the cartridge slot and Nintendo could make the 3DS more portable.

Omega Ruby, currently, as it is my only Pokemon game, lol. Just started in April.

I dread the thought of losing my Pokemon game. I'm already at 990+ hours and I've bred so many Pokemon, which I mostly nickname so they become quite closer to me. Plus, it's Hoenn, the region I've played so so many times, and the one whose manga is my favourite.

I only have one 3DS game, so it's pretty much always in my game slot.

Though I have heard of back ups. Haven't tried them yet.

I never lost any game forever :p There was this one time that I lost my Pokemon White Version but I ended up finding it back since I left it in my pocket ;-; It got washed and the save file corrupted so I had to start over; luckily it was not much since I didn't beat the game at that point and there was no special thing that happened (like a shiny)

Putting a tracker is kinda exaggerating in my opinion but it is really reliable ^^ especially if you have a lot of games and you traveling, etc.

Tracker has a limitation of 3KM's

Ermahgerd that sounds like a useful idea. I think in practice it sounds way better than it does because although I never lost a cartridge yet and have my own location for them I'd like a tracker for my 3DS because my mom still likes to hide it and maybe own for my 3DS stylus because that has gone missing. :/
