Just a curious little question. Where did you all buy your first Pokemon game? As a kid, I was really into the anime, and I saw something quite strange. It was the time of year where we have yard sales everywhere, and the second one we went to BLEW MY MIND. I had a Game Boy Advance SP, and saw a Game Boy game I couldn't even begin to believe was real. Pokemon Yellow. There was a Pokemon game. At the time, I had no idea the show was based off the games, and after I bought it, I noticed the similarities. I thought it was the other way around. I thought the show inspired the games, due to me seeing the show first. Then, when I was older, I had another screwball thrown at me. I put two and two together and realized the games came first. So, as you can tell, this yard sale blew my mind and got me into Pokemon. Where did you get your first Pokemon game? Just at the store? Borrowed from a friend? Yard Sale? Let me know!

Technically my first Pokémon games were borrowed from my cousins. At first, I saw one of my cousins playing it, and several weeks later, I wanted to borrow my cousin's Gameboy Color back in the day, where I get to play both Yellow, Red, Blue, Gold and (Vietnamese) Crystal. I played these games for quite short time though, because I only come to my cousin's house for a while.

I bought a box of stuff in an auction during my fifth grade year and Fire Red was inside. That's how I wound up getting addicted to it~! (Even though I had no idea what the fudge I was doing. xD)

My mom gave me my first Pokemon game, Pokemon Yellow for either my 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th b-day. And since then, my love for Pokemon has only snowballed. And now here I sit waiting for Pokemon Sun/Moon. :D

My very first Pokemon game was Pokemon Ranger, but I only remember I got it in the mail. My first main series game was Pokemon Pearl though. I got that in the mail too, but I actually remember looking at it on eBay and wanting it, so my father got it for me. I found out it was a fake copy made in Hong Kong years later. . - .
