As per the title, where do you pick up older consoles and accessories that are fully working? I've seen some at garage sales and such, but a lot of them are in poor shape.

The stores here sometimes have chargers, adaptors and AV cables for last-gen consoles if a person is lucky. One shop here even still had a couple of GBA cartridges. Had. Yours truly bought them. :giggle:

If not, then I tell them, "Get me my DS charger!" and they make a note of it and it becomes available in a couple of days.

A shop here has a Sega Genesis too, completely new , but finding cartridges is difficult so I haven't bought it.

Garage sales. That's how I got a GBA SP and charger, and a F-1 Race bundle with a Game Boy Pocket as well as a cord that comes with it because that game can support 16 players.

We have some 2nd hand gaming shops that may have them (if I'm lucky enough) but it's best to buy an item there and then, otherwise someone else will swipe it up. Rare stuff is rare. :p

the first place I look is ebay.

I have a store called 2nd And Charles near me. It's a huge books/electronics store with a similar trade in system as Gamestop, and it's owned by Books-a-Million. It's cool.

Garage sales, 2nd hand stores and flea markets can contain a few good things.

I'm fortunate to have 4 retro game stores with a half hours drive from me. They all carry a wide variety of old stuff, and are constantly getting new things in. I'm friendly with most of the owners too, which helps.

Huh i find my old console in the the roof of my house but some of them don't work cause they are old but i still keep them to remind how i use to play with them every days

Internet. Since it's too rare for me to go to any garage sale (and due to the fact that I live in a deserted place, screw it!), it's my last resort.

But if you're lucky enough to stop by an EasyCash shop (in France), you may find an old console (I got my GameCube from them with a Zelda Collector Disk, so, there can be good deals sometimes), or old games. I even remember having seen a Zelda II cartridge for the NES once!

Most;ly I will get my older games/consoles from the internet, mostly eBay. Sometime my GameStop will have some accessories, but not really and old consoles. I don't see many garage sales. but if i do I'l give them a look sad sometimes I'll get lucky. Once I got an old working N64 from my grandparents birthday.

old stuff and consoles and accessories can be easily found in the internet mostly Ebay , but there are always some specific store that might have them as well or garage sales . Sometimes I usually find such old stuff from older people who used to play them :p
