So, where do you think 3ds Pedia will be in the future? Maybe 1 to 5 or maybe even 10 years from now, it's all up to you. How many friends of yours do you think will leave? Do you think any will leave? Will the forum still remain? The questions are all here, but the answers are up to you.

You don't need to predict the future, these are all opinions.

I can see some people leaving ;~; even though I don't want some people to leave.

I hope Pedia can last a long while, I really like it here :D

I see 3ds pedia in the future as a good blog website with some games on it. A lot of members on it that are there to help anyone with a qustion. I also see them being the website to fight Pokemon against living gem leaders. They have that now but it would be more active with a leader board and stuff. Its a great place now but it will definitely better. This is just were I think it will be like in a while. Cant wait to see what they do with this wonderful website.

@Nintendo Marvel fan, If typos bother you that much then just report them as a "typo" please. No need to point out every little mistake. ._.

10 years is a long time. It'd be great if the site went on for that long because it closing down would be a heartbreaker to me.

I think we'll become NX Pedia in the next two years when the NX comes out as Nintendo's main console. I wish it'd be called Nintendo Pedia or something similar so it encompasses every generation of consoles easily instead of having a name change when the NX's successor comes out, but apparently that's too long of a name.

Frankly I think very few original people will stay to visit regularly. People change; they come and go all the time. Even after 2.7 years, very few of the original members are still here. Several folks will probably become those users who pop in from time to time and are greeted very warmly when they do but never stick around for long. I'm sure that I would never voluntarily leave this site, but I'm not sure exactly what'll have happened by then. Maybe I'll be a bitter old fish

There's always that chance that we'll become one of those 'big Nintendo-covering sites' after a number of years but we'd have to step up our news-and-reviews output again before we can think of that. It's hard to find writers who are both up to snuff and are willing to write stuff regularly. I don't completely blame them: watching videos and skimming the review to see the score is easier when we usually already know if we'd give the game a chance or not, the standard of even the big sites has fallen hard so they don't have as much material to show them how it's done, and the start-middle period where they have to write a few articles to be let into the writing team proper is the place where 90% of them give up even after getting accepted.
On top of that our best writer passed away, the second-best is way too busy these days and I lost pretty much all my motivation after going to university to study a subject my heart isn't in and living in conditions that make jail look like a five-star hotel. I haven't written a single review since November last year, even for myself, which is by a huge degree the longest pause I've had in writing them since 2011. So yeah - news-wise we're very much in a lull. Writing this has given me quite a chance to reflect and I'll make more of an effort from now on. Guys, if you fancy yourself a good writer, I'll be here. ;-;

If Pedia'll still be here after 10 years, I hope to still be here. I hope we make it another ten years because Marc'll be married by that time :giggle:

Who knows, Marc may even have a child in ten years :giggle:

I don't plan on leaving soon, but if school forces me to limit my activity, I may have to give up my title of the most obsessed user... But until then, I've got the trophy and you can't have it. :vamp:

I could see the Pedia becoming a larger community, and everyone will refer to it as "Pedia" (Which they already do) to keep up with the ever changing names. Or maybe the DS line still has a long line ahead of it, maybe... 4DS Pedia? Not as good as a ring to it but still...

I'll probably be gone by 10 years. In 10 years I'll be in my 20's. I'll have a life. An adult life. Now that's scary. >.<

I see Pedia becoming really 'overpopulated' with members. >.< Either that or all of the newbs become the regulars, as us regulars now may be gone. I feel old now. Oh no.

I predict this site will still be on the internet. That's where I see is being.

I think people will come and go, as is the case with all forums, but this is a pretty big and active site, so I can see it sticking around for a while. The only thing that'll change is the regulars that hang around here as new ones come along and old ones leave.

I agree with all of the above statements and think it unnecessary to repeat what others have already said.
