Is there any character(s) that you think are underutilized?

My choice is Little Mac. Little Mac is underutilized because of his arial game. No one tends to keep a focus on his ground game. Little Mac is AMAZING on the ground, his smashes are really good finishers for punishing. His frame data is really good, he has a frame 1 jab, and his tilts are excellent. KO punch is REALLY good too. It's a nice move for punishing opponents, and it can be easily set up for a finisher. Not to mention it kills at 20%. Sometimes his arial game can be good for jab locking because of his weak d-air.

I don't understand why Little Mac is underutilized. He has great potential to be a very good and feared character.

I feel like Zelda is underutilized. After all the times I played online I never seen a single person use Zelda (Probably because people use Shiek instead). But she has good moves.she has a good Recovery (In most cases) She can reflect Projectiles. And she has a move she can use to damage from a distance.
And she has her smashes and regular attacks.
Even though Zelda's final smash is kinda easy to dodge like mario's,if a cpu or player is on the ground Zelda can use her final smash and the cpu or player can't dodge it.
I feel like Zelda is a good character to use and shouldn't be underutilized.

Although I would say Bowser Jr.,Wario and Mr.Game & Watch are bit too underestimated from the rest, this title definetly goes to R.O.B.
By far,I see him as one of the better fighters in the game, and here's why.Yes,even if his range and mobility is inferior from his previous appearence in Brawl,in reward,he got much more strengh and knockback than ever.R.O.B. is essentially a risky character to use in competitive play when in comparison to others, but trust me when I say he's probaly one of the greater choices to go for that subject.First, his ground game,as well as his air game,is fantastic. You can do some insane damage and combos with the robot, and his specials also help on that topic. His grabs and defense are also something to be recognized with. You'll be better off if you use the down and up-grab throw, technicaly speaking. And I notices he's one of the heavier characters in the game by his fall speed,so you'll be fine if you know what you're doing with the fighter.
Honestly,I just hoped he would become more recognized as a great fighter here instead of actual reality, where people misjudge him just because he was a NES accessory.Oh well,I can always hope. :writing:

Probably non customs Palutena. You either see people using Pit or Dark Pit but almost never Palutena and is probably the most underused in the game. I also think it's because casuals can't use her properly so she is therefore easily punishable and people try to avoid using her even though I think she has as much potential as Yoshi w/o customs.

The only thing I use for. Custom yoshi is high jump (or something called like that)
Although yoshi is like Ness were he has a high second jump

olimar if you are talking about FG but if you are talking on the competitive side of things then shulk. the only two people that can use him properly is Kenny (get top 8 with pikachu and Shulk at Xanadu) and ZeRo (only once).

I gotta say Robin I rarely find Robin players and only once have I found a good Robin player.

Barley anyone uses Zelda, and I don't understand why because Zelda can be a very intimidating opponent if used correctly! Back in super smash bros brawl, I always used to play Zelda and sheik because I loved how they transformed into one another with the click of a button. Zelda's side B is my favourite Zelda move, because it can hit multiple targets and you don't have to get close to the fight!
I think Zelda is very underutilized. It has great potential

Zelda in my opinion >.> I rarely see anyone online play Zelda and she's actually quite strong. Using her specials are really effective in damaging and utilization such as Naryu's Love and Farore's Wind. I myself like using Farore's Wind to net some kills unexpectedly with its pretty good mind games

Phantom Slash can also be used offensively and (sometimes) defensively. Though lots of these awesome moves lease her wide open for attack xD

I'd say Lucario because I haven't seen a lot of Lucario players and I see him as underutilized. Also probably Duck Hunt and Bowser.

I totally agree. But Little Mac's aerials ROCK. He has bad recovery but amazing attacks on the air. His back aerial is the best and then his neutral too.

My problem is they are great as defensive moves but I cannot hit with his Nair at all like the game is trying to screw you over if you learn how to use his aerials right you pretty much would either get punished anyways or you get used to him as a character and forget to use any other character right. They are decent for combos and jablocks and combos into footstool however it's incredibly risky and hard to do, not only to predict but to hit. Unless you are psychic or know you are going to lose anyways you pretty much shouldn't use this character in tournament because he's a very risk oriented character. If anything he's overrated for decent reason.

Yes a skilled Zelda with the proper knowledge of prediction can kill as early as she wants. Why? She got buffs on her aerials so if they sweetspot they deal more damage and knockback but if they don't you are almost punishable, again all her moves are hard to pull off but I think she's more overrated than you think.

I think Greninja is underused because everyone mains Sheik instead. Seriously Greninja has just as much potential as Sheik even with bouncing fish abuse it's still avoidable and punishable. If anything Link and Samus are overused (but mostly in FG). Sheik is just more convenient in every way while Greninja has more mobility he can be punishable and can be predictable at times so it's a risk/reward but the good thing about Greninja is he feels like a character from Melee so you may be able to switch between games if you main Greninja or Ganondorf in Smash 4 and then use Ness in Melee because they feel so similar.

Sure they are risky, but if youre skilled with Mac, you will able to play the game of double or nothing with Mac and always gets double. Thus Mac can be a very dangerous character.

The point is in competitive battling you're always out-neutraled meaning a character who depends fully on the neutral with the lack of a long range grab means your asking for problems because a lot of characters are just better options than him. FG Mac is a brand name because they are all so bad because they lack knowledge of the neutral or fail to succeed by conventional means. You really have to go above and beyond with everything he does and take advantage of it. If only we all played like defensive Lv.50 Amiibos and took full advantage of the frame data and our opponent.
