Which do you prefer between the 3DS and the 3DS XL?

I have a question for you guys. Which Nintendo gaming device do you prefer between the Nintendo 3DS and the 3DS XL? The 3DS XL is larger, however, it'll cost you a little extra dough.

I really want to upgrade from a 3DS to a 3DS XL, but I just don't have the money. The 3DS XL has a longer battery life and larger screens than the 3DS. I aslo here that the "3D" effect is way better on the 3DS XL than on the 3DS, so I pretty much prefer a 3DS XL.

I wasn't interested in the 3DS XL when it came out and I'm still not. I don't really care for the larger screen - it only makes it less portable in my opinion. Besides, as far as I know it didn't fix the major design flaw with the 3DS: the touch-screen's ridges cutting into the upper screen and leaving permanent scratches.

So, yeah, I prefer the original 3DS.

Go to Target if you can. They usually have the 3DS XL ready for people to play.

I'll just stick with my Regular 3DS even though that XL sounds better, its just since I don't play it often.

I didn't like the colors for the 3DS XL when I was getting mine so I went with the purple moonlight one. A bigger screen would be nice to have though. But I'm picky with colors/designs for the 3ds. I would maybe just get the simple white 3ds xl and customize the outside a bit.

On a side note, I've only had my 3ds since May and I already have a lot of scratches on it I've had my regular DSi for years and there are hardly any scratches at all, which I think is weird. I guess the DSi is better quality?

Maybe you've abused your 3DS a lot more than your DSi. You treated that DSi with some respect and showed some dignity. Guess 3DS and you were like water and oil.

My 3ds broke last two months ago and it is too expensive to repair,so the money I can spend to repair it I can buy a 3ds XL so for my birthday I am really hoping for a 3ds XL, I would really enjoy the bigger screen more than the smaller one, playing games, enjoying the 3d, Netflix. So I guess I prefer the 3ds XL more than the 3ds.

I prefer the larger screen so I went with the 3DS XL. I don't carry it around much so it's perfect for me.

I have only used the Nintendo 3DS, but I have seen 3DS XL. I don't really like it because it is too big. If you want to pay more money, then why don't you buy an iPad or a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4? Generally, I don't enjoy playing in huge screens because they usually create many problems. For example, my iPad's screen needs to be cleaned every day and this is pretty annoying. However, 3DS XL may be more exciting. It's a tough decision guys.

Luckily no I didn't have a single Eshop game,thank lord. I sure hope I can get the 3ds XL for my birthday though. I am currently stuck with my DSI XL so I am just playing DS games.

The 3DS XL is better. It wins my vote because of the better resolution, graphics, and the longer battery life!

I got a 3DSXL for Christmas last year it's good i have no complaints excpt it feels uncomftarble(How do you spell that?) It fits in my pocket ll the time but can get uncomftarble(?)

Yeah I rather the smooth texture of the 3ds XL, it is less common to attract finger prints and it feels really good.
