Wait , isn't it all the Mario Kart games that you listed in the poll . I wasn't quite sure on what you meant by arcade . But anyways , my favorite Mario Kart title would most likely be Mario Kart DS since it was my first one that I played and liked and it had a plenty lot of content and it was really cool :D

The thing is that there are three official arcade versions of Mario Kart, by arcade I refer to those machines, that mostly you should put money on them.

MK8. DLC, new track ideas with antigrav, more comeback friendly with items being determined by distance from 1st (this is why 2nd place can get a Crazy 8 and 4th can get a Bullet Bill) but also gives first more power to stay ahead with the Super Horn, first MK with DLC (and this DLC is even better than the original courses) and just more love and improvements in general.
It's hard for me to go back now.

Mine has to be Mario Kart Wii, for many reasons of course. To start, you had the first implementation of Bikes on there, they are quite fun as they added a different version of powersliding ( the slimmer one, for example the mach bike), but they let some of the bikes use the normal powerslide which was nice too.

They added a lot of playable characters to use, and even ones you had to unlock by playing other games (for example, Rosalin, i unlocked her by accident when i borrowed Super Mario Galaxy off of a friend, but i was happy to unlock her), you could even use your mii character which was really cool!

They had some really diverse and fun maps, if anything my favourite was rainbow road, i'll never forget how good i was on that map, i always beat my friends on there :3. Whilst talking about the maps, if you used the mario kart mod made by MrBean35000r ( i think his name is that XD), that had so many maps which were very cool,it also allowed people to play online for MK Wii after the WFC went down, which brought back so much joy to me. On top of that, MK Wii in general had a good online mode for both Worldwide and Continent as well as being able to play with friends of course, there was hardly any lag that i could recall ever happening in my time playing that game.

I could go on but i feel it would just crowd my post and no-one would read it XD

I just have played Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart DS and just a bit of Mario Kart Double Dash, so I don't have many choices and for me, with the new characters, the kart customization better than the one from Mario Kart 7, the beautiful graphics, more items, and the Mii costumes with the amiibos, for me, Mario Kart 8 is the better, I think the tracks have more fun too.

For me it's a tie between 8 and Wii versions. Both hold a place in my heart and I used to win a lot on them because I couldn't get the han of the two man driving from the GameCube version :S

Mario Kart 8, no doubt about it, the best courses, the best soundtrack, superb DLC. While it lacks some fan-favorites (boo, bowser jr, ... Dry bones was my favorite :() its awesome, a great DLC (I loved how Nintendo incorporated the DLC to MK, pretty cheap too), my second favorite is a tie between 64,DD and 7 :p, my least favorite is the Wii version, sorry folks, but the bikes were way to overpowered and the courses design wasn't that great...

My vote would be Mario Kart 8. The reason why is two things: the anti-gravity and the orchestral music from the numer0us courses that are on there. I love Mario Kart 8! I can imagine Nintendo making Mario Kart 9 on the NX. :)

My vote is Mario Kart 7. It's because my friends have it so when we go to each other and bring our 3ds we play it. I have Mario Kart for DS and I don't really play my ds that much because I think 3ds is much better. If I will just try Mario Kart 8 I think I will like this game.

My favorite is Mario kart 8. The graphics are very clean and amazing. I love all the detail in all the maps and also all of the new characters added too. I like all of the different karts too. I also really like all the dlc nintendo added to the game. This game is awesome and I suggest this game to anybody who is a fan of the mario kart series.

MK7 was great in terms of gameplay but if I want to have fun with friends the better game to play is MK:DD (not Disk Drive :p) because it has some really fun party modes and tracks (not that the MK7 ones aren't fun, just you need more consoles to play and unless you want to do Download Play you need more MK7 games). And personally I think MK:DD has better karts and was hipster by doing customization before it was cool (but Lego Racers did that even before then). And it has so much more detail in it. Take this CoolBits episode for example. Proof the game's tracks are all connected and did that concept again in MK8.

Mario Kart 8 is my favorite Mario Kart game of all. The anti gravity is really good, you can do many shortcuts, especially the 200cc if you got the update (pretty sure everyone did). There's a lot of characters and now the game has Link and Villager, they have a race track and the game is really fun even if your alone or with a friend, you can also put a costume to your Miis if you an amiibo! So many things, such a great game.

My favorite mario kart game is mario kart 8 because of its supreme graphics, it's excellent music, and it's amazing tracks and, of corse, dlc! There are so many great things about this game that it's hard to list them all. Like kart customization, one of my favorite feature of mk 7, made an improved return in mario kart 8. An the doc is pretty cheap, too. You get four karts and (correct me if I'm wrong) 4 characters. You also get 8 tracks, all for just seven dollars. Most games might give you a shaggy hat for the same price :/. Alltogether, this is probably nintendo greatest mario kart achievement besides mario kart on the snes.

I am pretty sure most people here would agree with 8 because of it's amazing wii u graphics and expanded tracks and the classic rainbow road. I know that loads of people would disagree that the wii u rainbow road was great, but I love it. Also, it has zero-gravity tracks which are epic. Did I mention epic DLC for zelda and animal crossing? And miis are there too. It's the best karting game in the series! (so far, of course.)

Mario Kart DoubleDash is my favorite. Me and my brothers would constantly race each other and get salty when we would lose XD

Mario Kart DS is pretty much where I started the series, and it was fun. It introduced me to the series with the Grand Prix and Battle Mode. I know that every Mario Kart game has that, and I have played most of them, but the drifting mechanic was better in this game than the rest of the other installments.
